"I was once under immense pressure from my ex-boyfriend, Asim Riaz, to convert to Islam. I was told "Ye pooja-paath ab nahi chalega" (These worship rituals will no longer be allowed).
I was on the verge of converting my religion. But before I did, I decided to visit Kinnaur Kailash Shivling. When I went there, I broke down in tears...and that was my turning point. My inner voice told me that, no matter what, I would not convert my religion." ~ Himanshi Khurana, Actress and Model.
92-year-old Sarwan Singh, who lost 22 members of his extended family during the 1947 Partition violence, met his nephew Mohan Singh, who lives in Pakistan as Abdul Khaliq.
This reunion took place in 2022.
Sarwan Singh remained Sarwan Singh in India.
Mohan Singh became Abdul Khaliq in Pakistan.
This is the difference... the names say it all.

This is Congress's new strategy to ridicule PM Modi, hoping to turn him into a caricature and erode his votes.
Won't happen. Political campaigns aimed at reducing prominent leaders to comical figures don't work unless public perception of that leader already supports that image. A classic example is the "Pappu campaign" against Rahul Gandhi. He actually made silly comments, pointless statements, and missteps that made it easier for his critics to turn his public image into a caricature.
It can't be replicated against PM Modi, because he simply doesn't give them anything to work with. He is a master of his public image, always projecting real authority, discipline, and a strong presence. While his voters might criticize him on policy or the lack of it, they don't view him as a joke, making these caricature-driven attacks completely fall flat.
If Congress has any sane voices, though I don't think they do, they should focus on criticism of governance and policy issues instead. That's the only way you can hurt him electorally, though only a bit, and for that, you've yourself and your credibility to blame.

Congress in Meghalaya held a protest rally against the proposed FCRA Amendment Bill.
Congress leader Vincent Pala described the proposed FCRA Bill as the "first attack after Independence" on churches and NGOs that receive foreign contributions.
There is a straightforward question for organisations, NGOs, and religious bodies opposing the FCRA Bill:
If their foreign funds are being used legally and only for legitimate purposes, why resist a law meant to regulate such funding? Why oppose transparency and accountability?

It is being alleged that Rahul Gandhi called Hemant Soren and said, “Remove these students by any means necessary.” Soon after, the students were attacked.
Yet Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Arvind Kejriwal, who claim to stand with students, haven’t said a word about Jharkhand.

Unfortunately, most people do not look at life with depth when things are good. They wait for a disaster before asking “What is this life about?” Spirituality should not begin when you are old or broken. It should start when everything is right and you have time to grow. #SadhguruWisdom
