I think the shift we’re seeing in NFTs is worth talking about.

And for those of you who are new and just joined this space — hear me out.

Back in 2021–2022, NFTs weren’t supposed to be stocks with guaranteed returns.

The value was in the art, culture, provenance, ownership, community and the brand being built around them.

Then came tokens, points, airdrops and increasingly complicated systems designed to attach a perceived financial value to simply holding an NFT.

And slowly, that changed the psychology of the space.

Today, you can have mediocre art attached to an impressive financial mechanism and suddenly it’s considered a great “project.”

Meanwhile, a collection with great art, history, culture, an active founder and a real community can be overlooked simply because holders aren’t being promised an immediate financial return.

I think Web3 needs innovation — but it also needs perspective.

Not every NFT needs to become a financial instrument.

Not every community needs a token.

And launching a coin doesn’t automatically create value, especially when there is no sustainable demand behind it.

For me, the @GutterCatGang is about getting back to what made this space special in the first place.

Art
Identity.
Culture.
Ownership.
Community.

Show up. Build. Create experiences. Grow the brand. Give people a reason to genuinely WANT to be part of something.

I’ve spent almost five years in this space investing my time, learning, meeting people, building relationships and becoming part of communities that I genuinely care about.

Taking over the Gutter gave me the opportunity to take everything I’ve learned and put it toward building a brand that I am truly passionate about.

But it also gave me something even more important:

Another opportunity to give back.

Giving back has always been one of my passions, and I want it to become part of the DNA of what the Gutter represents.

As we grow this brand, I want that success to reach beyond Web3.

I want it to help feed people.
Support children.
Strengthen communities.
Create opportunities for people who need them.

That, to me, is real utility.

Not promising holders overnight riches.

Not manufacturing expectations around the next token, airdrop or financial mechanism.

But building something people are proud to belong to — and using the strength of that brand and community to create real-world impact.

Technology will keep changing.

Narratives will come and go.

Markets will rise and fall.

But a real community can’t be coded into a smart contract.

Build the art.
Build the culture.
Build the brand.
Build the community.

And use what we build to do some good along the way.

That’s what I’m betting on.
