Imagine seeing Kleenex, Raincoats, Gang Of Four, Delta 5, Pop Group and ATV in the space of eight days - all for a total of £4.50. The heyday of the independents. #1979
Hello all - I'd be tremendously grateful if you could help spread the word about a small Scottish tour I’m doing. I’m taking my ‘Bad Mood Rising’ show to small-ish Scottish towns that often get bypassed on tour schedules. Any shares would be hugely appreciated. Thank you all! 💚

📰 Buick MacKane's Accidental Broadcast:
- T. Rex
- March 17, 1974
A glam-rock broadcast glitch that became an instant cult moment.
Recorded on February 14, 1973 for Musikladen, T. Rex’s performance of “Buick MacKane” was never shown during the programme’s original February 21 broadcast. Instead, it resurfaced by accident over a year later — on March 17, 1974 — when it played unexpectedly at the end of an Osmonds special, startling viewers and delighting fans who caught the moment live.
@micheleari@kristinhersh@50cent Seem to remember I first heard both Michele Ari and 50 Foot Wave on MySpace. I wonder if all the old MySpace users are still friends with Tom…

Harrison Ford was in tears during his super emotional Lifetime Achievement Award speech. This was so good
"Sometimes we make entertainment. Sometimes we make art. Sometimes, if we're lucky, we make 'em both at the same time. And if we're really fortunate, we also get to make a living doing it. Success in this business brings a certain freedom that comes with responsibility to support each other, to lift others up when we can. To keep the door open for the next kid, the next lost boy who's looking for a place to belong. I'm, indeed, a lucky guy. Lucky to have found my people. Lucky to have work that challenges me. Lucky to still be doing it. And I don't take that for granted."
