If Russia had not started the war, Ukraine would not need to carry out strikes on targets inside Russia.
Ukraine’s attacks on Russian territory are entirely legitimate.

It should be clear enough...🤷♀️
As always, the Russian invaders are stealing anything that’s lying around, from toilets to unexploded FPV drones… and this orc is no exception; he decided to drag an unexploded FPV drone back to his hideout.
"We're very lucky they're so fucking stupid"

For months, the Moscow leadership has largely ignored the growing problems in occupied Crimea, insisting everything was under control while propaganda painted a picture of normality.
Now, they’ve declared a state of emergency across occupied Crimea and Sevastopol.
According to Sergey Aksyonov, the measure is designed to speed up financial decisions, contracts and damage recovery as conditions on the occupied peninsula continue to deteriorate.

🇺🇦 PAVLO “ARTIST” HOLCHENKO REFUSED TO BREAK
Doctors gave Pavlo Holchenko, call sign “Artist,” a 96% chance of dying after an aortic rupture on the front. He survived. Seven wounds in three years of war, and as he says: “We had plenty of concussions, but we don't count those as wounds.”
A former miner at the Zasiadko mine, he has been fighting since February 2022. Near Lysychansk, he applied his own tourniquet and crawled back to a trench. Near Zahryzove, his assault group captured 15 Russian soldiers. Later, a kamikaze drone hit his buggy, leaving him with an artificial aorta from his neck to his heart.
He turned down becoming an officer because he believes he is more useful as a sergeant and reconnaissance team leader.
“What keeps me going is that I can still teach and train more people. And I want to live long enough to see robots fully take over the fighting.”
Ukraine’s resilience is not abstract. It has names, scars and people who keep standing when the odds say they should not.
A day in the life of a Ukrainian in Poland. Go to work, get called a "fucking Ukrainian whore" and told to "fuck off back to Ukraine".
Anti-Ukrainian sentiment stirred by Polish radical nationalist politicians incites ethnic hatred & real world assaults.
"I just can't live in this madness, damn it. I was just standing in a traffic jam for the gas station, and my car just broke down. It won't start. I don't understand how I'm supposed to open the hood, damn it. People are coming up to me, but no one knows how to open it,

While Ukraine faces a literal fight against a genocidal campaign of russification, Russia itself faces absolutely no threat to its borders, raising an obvious question:
Why can Putin not just pull the plug on this disaster of an invasion?
For Ukraine, this war is an absolute fight for survival because if they surrender, they cease to exist as a nation. Russia is actively attempting a total genocide through systemic russification, making it a matter of life or death for every Ukrainian citizen.
On the flip side, this war is not existential to Russia at all. The Russian federation would exist in the exact same format and within the same borders tomorrow if it simply chose to stop the invasion today.
So why does it continue? It is potentially not even existential to Putin as an absolute ruler, since he commands total authority over the state. He tightly controls everything, including the domestic state media, and the vast majority of Russians would actually be quite relieved to see the war finally end (if Putin decides so).
However, the trap is that Putin seems to sincerely believe that the war is completely existential to his personal reign, viewing any retreat as a threat to his power.
This psychological roadblock makes it virtually impossible for him to negotiate a withdrawal, leaving him permanently stuck in a war that he is destined to lose
