Proud moment of creative problem-solving: I solved Parts 1 and 2 of #adventofcode 2019 Day 15 - Oxygen System...without formal algorithms, but instead by building a web simulator, using it to see the map, then using the map and the alphabet to create this GIF:
Thank you @ericwastl. I'm 31 days into my 175-part series, 'Solving Advent of Code Backwards' (https://t.co/qYbTmVS49l). 2020 Day 20 - Jurassic Jigsaw - was crazy rough, but a blast to solve, and even more fun to simulate (https://t.co/yEkO7j3MAf)
@thecodercoder it seems we both teach beginner web developers. I'd be grateful of your impressions of this game I made to help Frontend Developers practice: https://t.co/PH1IRsWYRv
@chriscoyier on August 17, you published a helpful article cataloging places to find #FrontEnd challenges. I've been working on a game the last few months called 'Fix a function!'. Would you consider adding it to that incredible list? https://t.co/OYVobm5mXA
@wesbos remember years ago when I cleverly (and incorrectly) called you WesBox...like FlexBox? Well, hopefully that makes us good enough friends for you to play and hopefully share this game I made to help #beginner#Devs practice & learn #FrontEnd: https://t.co/OYVobm5mXA
@LinkedIn when asking my mentee for a recommendation, I see '...mentored you', but not 'You mentored...' - that would be a real helpful option, thanks! I currently must resort to '...was a client of yours' - it makes me uncomfortable. #uxdesign
@masterclass any chance you're working to fill these gaps in your course offerings? 1. User Experience with Don Norman or Jarod Spool; 2. Software Design with Kevlin Henney or Kyle Simpson; 3. Outdoor Survival/Adventure with Bear Grylis
Great job @LinkedIn#designers and #developers for putting 'alt text' as close to 'front-and-center' as possible in your article editor. You make this #accessibility specialist so proud!
I checked how long to microwave my Smart Ones frozen meal yesterday. What I found was bright yellow text on a light gray semi-transparent background. The rest is tough to read, too. Needs work, @EatYourBest#accessibility#fail
15 minutes of fame? Psh. You only need 60 seconds to wow the audience with your incredible talents! I get my shot this Wednesday at #TalentJamCLT - come learn why you should "Put Mion your team". Thanks for the opportunity, @PitchBreakfast
@scottjenson your recent article about video games and UX focuses on lenses, but fails to mention the book 'The Art of Game Design: A Book of Lenses' by Jesse Schell. I found that quite ironic. Are you familiar with this book?
The book, Loonshots, is in my opinion newly required reading for Product Managers...not least of which for teaching us why those daytime dramas are called โSoapโ operas. This book is packed with fascinating product tales!
