@Pixiethemsd Hey, we are doing ok thank you. They confirmed I have SARDS so nothing more they can do but all other tests came back fine so thats good. Aww thats fab to hear, great how quickly we can adapt. I've still been loving my park walks. Hope to do more off lead soon xx

@starhar Thank you for sharing. I didn't realise male dachshund could suffer from the rapid eyesight too just thought was females. Glad to hear he is doing well regardless 😍 xx

Sad times, I'm off to the vets on Saturday (earliest we could get) as the humans are really worried about me. They have noticed my eyesight seems to be deteriorating. Not sure why, we think its maybe SARDS. Anyone got any advice? Other than sight I'm my normal happy self.

@Pixiethemsd Aww you wear your coat well. I've instructed the human to make me some information clothing. I'm now at the vets for the day so they can do all the tests and everything. Humum felt super sad leaving me. Thanks for your help xx

@Pixiethemsd It was ok, pretty much confirmed what we thought. They think i might still be able 2see light &dark but that's probably it. Going 2 my normal vets 2morrow for the day for tests& blood pressure etc. Hopefully we will know more after that. Do u take any supplements? Hope ur OK x

@ediesausage Thank you, i hope so. We have to go to a different vet as wanted to get seen sooner and humans not allowed inside either so going to be a strange vet visit x
