Anyone who has ever crossed Horne's ferry from Wolfe Island ON to Cape Vincent NY probably met George Horne. I enjoyed many nice visits with George in the wheelhouse. 😢 Hope he finds another ship to sail wherever he is.

@craigchevalier I have a bin with auto closing vents that does the same thing. I usually go up and open the man hole at the top which lets most of the air out and stops the surging. Your salesman might be right. With less vents the added pressure on fewer vents might hold them open. 🤷♂️
