We're thrilled to announce our first holder exclusive Single Elimination Battleship Tournament.
This is your chance to showcase your strategic skills, meet fellow players, and compete for a share of a 50 $ALPH prize pool!

Tournament Details:
Game: Battleship
Format: Single Elimination
Max Participants: 16 players
Prize Pool: 50$ ALPH
🥇 1st Place: 25$ ALPH
🥈 2nd Place: 15$ ALPH
🥉 3rd Place: 10$ ALPH

Signup Period:
3-day signup window (exact dates and how to sign up will be announced later this month).

Tournament Period:
Duration: 2 weeks max
Players will have time to coordinate and schedule their matches within this period.

Reporting Matches:
Players will report their match results in our Discord channel once the tournament starts, and I will verify the validity of each match.

If we receive more than 16 signups, priority spots will be given to players who were active during Pyreplay test periods.

Community-Driven Approach:
As a long-time Magic: The Gathering player, I’m excited to bring a more community-focused approach to our tournaments instead of autopilot grinding. Players are encouraged to socialize and organize their matches directly with their opponents, making this not just a competition but also a chance to connect with others.

Testing is essential for every app, and by testing, I mean rigorous unit testing, not just manual trial runs.

Over the next 1-2 iterations, there might not be much to share visually, but I'm committed to building a robust backend and achieving over 90% code coverage.

Is it mandatory? No. But is it crucial? Absolutely. I aim to deliver a smooth user experience for @PyreplayDotCom.
