Voting is open for @DuraEdge Field of the Year. The Muni features a blend of infield mix by @DuraEdge. Over 130+ games are played a summer at the Muni and even with the all the rain this spring/summer a mere 2 games have been postponed.
@DundasDukes Nice job Dundas at protecting your infield skin! Those sand bag layers helped to keep a majority of silt from getting into the skin area making clean up in that area much easier. The warning track will need a tractor with a sweeper to put it back in place though. @DuraEdge
@LuverneRedbirds@DuraEdge Due to the porosity of aglime, the silt may have settled into the top inch or more of your aglime. By amending DuraEdges FS50 and Collegiate infield soil into the aglime, it would likely prevent the silt from seeping so deep into the skin and provide a better infield surface.
@LuverneRedbirds@DuraEdge Skim silt off the top of your infield skin. Remove whatever it takes and replace with new . Rinse silt off grass on infield and foul territories ASAP before too dry. Outfield is too big to do this to. Plan for an extra aggressive core aerification/overseed late summer/early fall
Our first week of 'On The Field' events kicked off in Jacksonville. We are thankful to the whole team with the Jumbo Shrimp for rolling out the red carpet for us. We are also thankful to all those we were able to share the evening with from the community. ⚾️🦐

Cooler than normal temperatures will begin to work their way in for the Great Lakes and OH Valley towards the end of the first week of October, but what does it look like from here?
The North Pacific pattern and a correlation from the Bering Sea would suggest that below normal temps continue for the Midwest.
We're eyeing a potential strong front towards October 16th that can pose a strong freeze risk as far south as the OH Valley!

Without much further ado, we are excited to share the video project we did with The Wall Street Journal. We'd like to give a big thanks to Herrine Ro for bringing this to life. This was hard to keep quiet about. Enjoy!
