I'd love to be proven wrong and see ZoS start balancing their game in terms of PvE and PvP, but talking around there is currently little to no faith with the combat team and their ability and leadership. #ESO#ElderScrollsOnline#ESOFam
U22 (Elsweyr) considered one of the better points in the game a top tier parse was 80k, U50 parses are hitting 222k....... that's not combat creep anymore, we've just thrown combat balance out the window.
The whole point of seasons was to react faster and not wait for the quarterly updates for balancing, but I fear that's not being done at all and instead we will probably end out the year in the nightmare form that combat currently exists in.
I'll say it, ZoS has shown that seasons being about being able to react to and do more when content is ready ended up being false. Everything is matching the same release pattern just dragged out. To boot they still refuse to balance the game as things come up.
Oh look U50 PTS is coming Monday, I have literally no expectations on combat balance when it comes to PvP and @TESOnline will still somehow disappoint me.
Nobility in Decay outclassed by an unupgraded skill...... think it needs something more. You need to slot 5 bone tyrant abilities to match bone armor for self use targeting for corpse abilities.
The fact they gave into the people this would nerf because they complained and lied on the forums so loudly and refuse to just do anything is not good. If there isn't any substantial balance to PvP this patch, it's all words and no action to back it up. #ElderScrollsOnline#ESO
@Darktagger if the PvP healing nerf isn't going through, while classes are being balanced and the team doesn't have bandwidth, a solution could be revert major and minor defile back to 30%/15% respectively. This would hit healing and shields both in a decent way.
I came into the patch expecting little and for the first time in a while I think ZoS actually came out and cooked. I'd say I'm actually looking forward to the patch if the changes go through. #ElderScrollsOnline#ESO
So let's look at the PTS notes. The big winner is PvP healing nerfs, honestly it's probably a little heavy handed, but healing has been way too strong for a long time. This actually is a good start. I really hope this goes through as is and receives tweaks as needed.
It does well in that it makes the class feel unique, it's less raw healing and more damage shields and damage reduction, it's more dots than direct damage, it's more about CC than speed. Having classes go about a role in different ways is always what I wanted.
