@TSDNM_ that and he said MBA isnt included so how is litterally everyone mentioned in chud grade 1 not obliterating him with his weak ass cursed energy that panda was ripping through
I presume "From that time" for someone as old as Sukuna was in reference to the time when Kenjaku was making babies like Choso and his brothers, its seemingly a recent thing as we don't really see much mention of Kenjaku doing anything similarly until recently.
“From that time…” that time what?!?!?. What is Sukuna referring to here? Like how did he know about what Kenjaku did to Jin??? Or is he thinking about something else Kenjaku did???
the funniest part about all of this is the sheer amount of moving the goal post, like yeah im sure baldur isnt accurate to norse mythology but like almost everything that occurs in the norse saga is divergent of the mythology and not the topic so like ???
So Faye being skinny is where y'all draw the line? 😭
Nobody questions this guy going toe-to-toe with Kratos, but suddenly realism matters when it's a woman.
It's a mythological world. Some of y'all will say anything to discredit women in gaming. 💀
@gojichronic Well no, that's not what they're referring to. They're referring to the fact that there is such an absurd disparity in capabilities that it should render any stakes or most importantly suspension of disbelief impossible assuming they take these ludicrous scales seriously.
The specific statement is not that Dabura is the first to MOVE at sublight speed, but rather that he is the first to be capable of swiftly operating at NEAR lightspeed.
舞う is the verb which encodes the capacity to operate freely within a given space. It specified to be across 人類— humanity as a category. It’s unlike Kashimo’s circumstance, in which he simply uses 人の域 (the limits of a person). In effect, Dabura’s claim extends not only to regular humans, but to any individual at all that can be classified human. Kashimo is a human which exceeds the BOUNDARIES of humanity with his innate technique, Sukuna is the only reasonable exception you can infer (albeit unlikely), and otherwise, Dabura is the only individual we see capable of SWIFTLY operating at lightspeed. This proves he outspeeds basically anyone, as it isn’t simply travel speed, he’s the only known individual who can actually act FREELY at that speed, unlike Naoya who’s limited mostly to ramming.
That’s for speed, now for durability.
Dabura’s main mode of resistance is specified to be a “fluid”. His leg only burns whenever it feels like a SOLID, and it’s explicitly affirmed to be “rather than a fluid”, which affirms to us that his durability floor is when air feels more like a fluid. This is relativistic ram pressure, which is the product of ionised plasma, electromagnetic radiation bombarding him and dynamic pressure which otherwise atomises matter. Even if we ignore it via the statement, the Lorenz factor proves he’s far passed when air starts feeling like a fluid. We know this isn’t an oversight by Gege or Yuji because the following sequence is buildings collapsing in sync— people often interpreted this as him running through them, but the SFX categorically indicates that it’s akin to an intense rumble to the point of structural collapse— ド— “DODODODODO”. This means that each step Dabura produces, at MINIMUM (given the “fluid wall”, would be approximately 8.7 Tsar Bombas, and that’s as much as he’s TAKING PER STEP.
The only real question is “well, if that’s the case, why didn’t Dabura just blow up everything”, but that’s precisely to do with how his technique works— he does not manipulate light, he produces light from cursed energy, which means he has control over the phenomena he produces (as per Todo’s statement concerning Hanami in the Goodwill Event). It’s the exact same logic as Yuki’s Black Hole being at the scale CAPABLE of destroying the planet, yet through willpower, diminished. This also demonstrates his immaculate control over his cursed energy, but it could be due to the eye, and I don’t want to speculate.
So, what do we know?
On an OBJECTIVE level, even if you ignore the obvious fact that Dabura could logically diminish the output of phenomena he produces with cursed energy as we know to be plausible via every non-transformation innate technique, the facts are:
- He is the only individual in the series capable of operating swiftly near the speed of light.
- He resists approximately 8.7 Tsar Bombas equivalent of energy WITHOUT DAMAGE AT ALL, and only gets damaged at the solid wall threshold (which is likely lightspeed itself, since it specifies Dabura can move seamlessly at NEAR lightspeed— the actual term is not sublight, which is broad, but specifically CLOSE to lightspeed).
- By running, he causes a cataclysmic earthquake-like rumble which destroys several buildings.
And if you infer just slightly using what we know about Jujutsu Kaisen, Dabura didn’t destroy the country because he restricted the output of his electromagnetic radiation paired with a photonic component.
Sukuna’s Divine Hearth operates off of thermobaric explosives, and is mainly deadly for its decompressive properties. 10,000 thermobaric explosives are less than a ten millionth of 8.7 Tsar Bombas (1.84x10¹⁵J vs 1.83x10¹⁸J). This is his ultimate move, and was only survived due to Choso’s compression.
Truthfully… Dabura is that guy.
Even when you get like the few stellar stuff in death battle, its really far and few between and i wouldn't mind if we got WAYYYYY more time to animate each death battle to ensure they had consistent high quality, much less them being much longer
the biggest thing i dont like about the jotaro vs yuta debate is how much they'll mischaracterise jotaro as someone who WOULD run up, timestop and try to beat someone to death as if he's ever once tried that, especially on a first encounter considering kira was a second fight
That Jotaro stat scaling is so funny because of what it means for the rest of the story, like do you think Kira and Killer Queen has anything close to town level durability
@StarkllrScaler A battle of domain's would've proceeded better, and assuming Yuki had Kenjaku trapped within her closed domain barrier for even a minute while the two domains clashed, it would've been DISASTEROUS for Kenjaku beyond the sheer output difference between the two domains.
@StarkllrScaler Yeah, she quite literally had to keep it low to not break the empty barrier they were in as otherwise Kenjaku would've just went over and absorbed Tengen, she was forced to hold back or doom the entire world, Kenjaku even affirms that if she wasn't relying on Tengen --
@tableofenoch@BiasYujiFan He can't willingly target WHAT he heals, and as we can tell from the falling devil fight and the doll devil's fight, any damage towards the psyche, soul or anything of the sort are not covered by any standard regeneration whatsoever, he could possibly be aware but not do anything
@tableofenoch@BiasYujiFan I never said Rct changes the soul's information? I was talking about how Yuji's attacks on the unreinforced boundary (due to him not possessing the ability to reinforce that barrier) would not be able to be healed due to their regeneration not having targetting
