@unclecycling Cheryl Crow was there along with Robin Williams, and supposedly, Jake Gellenhall was there as well, readying himself to play Lance in an upcoming movie. Crazy how big he was.

@unclecycling We watched him take off on the Alp TT, then turned and watched the rest on a TV that a proprietor had set up in front of his deli. When Lance passed Basso with ease, the people actually spit on the TV and left. Only us Americans remained to cheer him on. I never felt so guilty.

@unclecycling I spent good money flying to France to see him dominate on Alp D’ Huez and win number 6 on the Champs… Oh well, at least I got ride the Galiber, Alp and Les Dues Alp and I ate some great food!!!
