@PeterSeviour @mariacaulfield@Fox_Claire In Maria Caulfield's constituency people have had bricks thrown through their windows and "traitor" written in paint across the front of their houses because they had stop Brexit signs or EU flags in their window. Nobody deserves abuse whether they're leave or remain.
@JAMgirl_Iva @Nick_BLM In 2018 there were 3.7m EU citizens living in the UK and that's the whole of the EU. Seems unlikely that "many of those millions" are going to be from eastern Europe when the entirety of the EU numbers less that 4m.
@AJW1978 @RolandRat20 @SkyNews@jeremycorbyn Bit rich coming coming from a murder-supporting, climate change denier like you @AJW1978 . People like you are the definition of "anti-British".
@mrs_n8mare @GrahameWhitF @GaryLineker Of course you're entitled to your opinion I wouldn't want to seem like I am saying otherwise. I think though, that example is a good reason to have another vote as, in that case, we did have another vote in the following GE and they were voted out as the public changed their mind
@mrs_n8mare @GrahameWhitF @GaryLineker Well yes, unfortunately I think using that result in 2019 isn't particularly useful seeing as so much has changed since 2016. Obviously another referendum would give the most definitive result but that doesn't seem very likely to happen.
@mrs_n8mare @GrahameWhitF @GaryLineker Well yes it is. Firstly I'd say it's a bit rich to assume it's still a majority but anyway. If they wanted to protest, why did they turn up? They don't have to take their seat or salary and yet they have. Turning their backs is equally a middle finger to people who want to remain
@mrs_n8mare @GrahameWhitF @GaryLineker Sure but you've got to be fair, anyone saying the lib dem shirts are fine but the above example is not, I would agree, is applying a double standard. The whole back turning thing, though, is not really comparable as obviously it's different to wearing a shirt.
@EdexcelStudents So the new A level maths spec has been out for 2 years and yet in that time you still could not be bothered to write new questions? I think this question from a 2014 Edexcel paper might look rather familiar to the students who sat today's Pure 2 paper.
@Grumpyme4@Pete121Evans@flipside666@theresa_may@Conservatives It's obviously not my main account mate. Sorry I thought this was a fairly reasonable discussion up until this point. Clearly I'm not going to change your mind so all I can say is I hope you do your research before voting and I'll just have to agree to disagree.
@Grumpyme4@Pete121Evans@flipside666@theresa_may@Conservatives That's not strictly true, countries like Germany, France and the UK are paying more because they can afford to. Germany's economic slowdown had nothing to do with it's EU contributions. Why anyone would be against a powerful country helping smaller countries is beyond me.
@Pete121Evans@Grumpyme4@flipside666@theresa_may@Conservatives They all still pay a contribution regardless of how much they get back. Countries like Germany are economically powerful countries so they obviously pay more than tiny countries. Besides 8 is still incorrect 11 countries pay more than they receive and another 4 make back <1%
