I think the biggest thing holding me back is my fear of being annoying, not knowing what to say, or reaching out too much.
In design, this has definitely impacted me because of a mentor who didn't respond to half my messages unless they needed something.

Main issue with this year was lack of motivation. I was told things that didn't end up happening and I got excited for them which lead to dissappointment. One thing I've learned to understand this year is to celebrate once you have it.
