This week our co-CEO and CTO Gaston Hendriks heads to Lugano for the Plan ₿ Forum, on 23 and 24 October.

The two days bring together technologists, entrepreneurs and policymakers to talk about Bitcoin, the economics of money and where digital finance is going next. Those are conversations we like being part of, especially when they touch on how money moves in Europe and what that means for payments.

If you’re going to be in Lugano, catch up with Gaston for a short discussion.

@marcvl @AlgoFoundation It has been a great pleasure working with you, @marcvl !

A cross-border payment has several steps. Getting value to a wallet can be fast; funding the account and paying out to a bank follow their own processes.

Quantoz connects bank funding with direct stablecoin issuance. Once issued to a verified wallet, tokens can be sent to a compatible wallet on a supported network. Recipients who need bank money have a separate redemption or local payout step.

Our new guide makes each part of that journey visible, including timing and potential costs.

Last Wednesday, our co-CEO and CTO Gaston Hendriks joined Capgemini in Utrecht for the launch of the World Payments Report 2027, speaking on the panel “The Future of Digital Money.”

The discussion covered the digital euro, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, programmable money, and the balance between public and private money.

Where do stablecoins fit in Europe? For us, the clearest use cases are cross-border transactions and on-chain business models.

Thank you to CapGemini for organizing it, and to the moderators and fellow panelists for the open discussion.

How does your business collect payments?

A Quantoz account enables EU businesses to accept revenue via Pay by Bank (Open Banking), SEPA, SWIFT, local payment methods, and Quantoz stablecoins.

Named virtual IBANs give your business a payment destination in its own name. For euro payments, you can also create a Pay by Bank payment link. Your customers approve the payment in their own banking app, and the IBAN, amount and reference are filled in for them automatically

@HappyCoinsEU Welcome back, @HappyCoinsEU !

Gaston Hendriks, our Co-CEO and CTO, is joining a strong panel at Capgemini's Money in Motion event.

The session focuses on the future of digital money, covering how stablecoins, tokenised deposits and the Digital Euro might actually coexist, and what that means for banks and payments infrastructure. Timely questions, and the kind of room where the conversation tends to cut through the usual noise.

The discussion draws on themes from Capgemini's World Payments Report, which looks at the rise of programmable and intelligent money.

Worth following if you want a grounded take on where digital money is actually heading in Europe.

🚀 Our new website is live!

We’re excited to share a new home for Quantoz: one that makes it easier to explore who we are, what we’re building, and how our digital money infrastructure works.

The site brings together our platform and the ways businesses can use it, from payments and cross-border transfers to direct stablecoin issuance, tokenised asset settlement, trade and supply chain finance, and agentic payments.

This post is the start of a series. Over the coming weeks, we’ll take a closer look at each of those topics and the ideas behind them. After that, we’ll turn to the developer experience, including our APIs and platform status.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring the new site to life. Take a look and tell us what you think 👇

We had a guest in the office yesterday!

José from INFTF stopped by to talk through where things could go next. We've worked together before, his efforts were instrumental in getting the TerraPay and Coop Bank partnership off the ground, and that set a good foundation.

This time, the conversation was broader. Future corridors, how Xahau fits into the picture, and what a longer-term relationship could actually look like in practice.

Thank you so much for stopping by José. It was a pleasure to see you in person.

Quantoz Payments now has its own BIC code, QUPYNL22.

This means payments sent to Quantoz accounts can be routed directly to us, without anything falling through the cracks. Cleaner routing, and more control over the flow of funds. For our clients, it makes funding accounts via SWIFT more straightforward. For us, it's another step toward being a more complete payments infrastructure provider.

Small update. Real consequence.

We're heading to Frankfurt for the S&P Global European Financial Institutions Conference.

Henri De Jong will be speaking at the “Europe’s Stablecoin Shift: Risks and Opportunities for Banks” panel. The discussion will cover where the real opportunities sit, what MiCAR means in practice for banks considering issuance, and the risks that come with moving this infrastructure into mainstream financial activity.

If you're attending, it's worth being in the room for this one.

Stablecoins keep getting talked about like they're still a future thing. They're not.

In the latest episode of "Understanding Crypto," our very own Henri de Jong sits down with Alireza Siadat, Partner at Deloitte Legal, to talk through what's actually happening right now: EMT reporting under MiCAR, getting licensed as a CASP, and where stablecoins are already doing real work, payments, transfers, white label setups for banks and NGOs.

If you want to actually understand this stuff, this episode delivers.

We will be in Barcelona attending the European Blockchain Convention!

Our CBDO Henri De Jong is always looking to talk, so if you're thinking about building on stablecoin rails, trying to understand where EURQ or USDQ might fit into your stack, or just want to compare notes on where MiCA compliance is creating friction versus opportunity, come find him!

Help us give a warm welcome to @Ornella our new Software Engineer!

Ornella brings 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend, including work on large-scale platforms like FranceConnect, France's equivalent of DigiD used by 40M people. At Quantoz she will be a crucial part of putting users at the center, focusing on how a platform feels, its flow, its performance, as well as by the product thinking that comes before the code to build something solid as it grows.

We're so glad to welcome Ornella to our team and are excited to see her develop herself and us!

Fintech Potje live on Quantoz

Excited to share that Quantoz Payments has launched Embedded Payment Services, giving fintechs and platforms an easy way to build regulated digital money, accounts and payments directly into their products.

Potje, the Dutch group savings app, is our first partner live on the platform, already using it for Europe-wide Pay by Bank top-ups and instant payouts.

It's great to see this go live after close collaboration with the Potje team. This is just the start, we're looking forward to bringing more fintechs and platforms onto the platform in the coming months.
