Having just played it for the first time, Ridge Racer Type 4 is the car-racing game I wish I had as a kid.

Instead, I ended up with WRC2 which, great as it was, is not a good game for someone who was bad at racing games!

I swither between excitement and dread for my first round of editing... Will be great to see some favourite story points start to shine and horrifying to tear out the ones that don't make the grade!

@nicheplays Sounds similar to how I'm approaching mine! Get as much as possible in there - without burning out the writing engine - and then I'll come back and refine whatever has ended up on the page.

That said, I'm still sentimental - not sure I could bring myself to cut 20k words 😭
