Hezbollah has bypassed Israel's Iron Dome and radar arrays using swarms of low-altitude, carbon-fiber drone strikes and coordinated IED ambushes. The same asymmetric tactics that bled the IDF during 18 years of occupation from 1982 to 2000 are bleeding them again.

Every empire that has entered southern Lebanon has discovered the same thing: you can destroy the surface, but you cannot destroy what is underground. The resistance does not need to win. It just needs to keep fighting. And the cost of occupation rises every day.

If we don’t write hard constitutional limits into law right now - before the technology fully matures - there will be nothing left to protect.

The first way Hezbollah has hollowed out Christian political power is by completely bypassing the Lebanese state.

Lebanon’s constitution was originally designed to protect the Christian (especially Maronite) community by reserving the presidency and the command of the army for them. Hezbollah has made these constitutional protections meaningless.

When Hezbollah began firing rockets into northern Israel in March 2026 - triggering the current devastating war - it did not ask the Lebanese parliament, the cabinet, the Christian president, or the Lebanese Armed Forces. A small group of leaders, funded and directed from outside Lebanon, simply decided to go to war.

Because Hezbollah maintains a much larger and more advanced military force than the official Lebanese army, the state has become almost irrelevant. The army is reduced to acting like a local police force, unable to protect the country’s borders or its own citizens.

The very constitutional protections that were supposed to guarantee Christian political survival now have no real power.

The second way Hezbollah is weakening Christian communities is financial - and it is extremely effective.

When Lebanon’s banking system collapsed in 2019, most Christian middle-class families lost their life savings overnight.

Hezbollah, however, was never affected. It runs its own separate financial system based on cash, gold, and direct support from Iran. Its financial arm, called Al-Qard al-Hassan, continued operating normally and even expanded.

Hezbollah has opened branches of this financial institution deep inside traditional Christian areas, including the coastal town of Aamchit in Mount Lebanon. Desperate Christian families who needed dollars for medicine, fuel, or education were forced to sell their family homes or hand over gold as collateral. Hezbollah-linked companies then bought up these properties at low prices.

The goal is to create continuous territory connecting Hezbollah’s strongholds in the Beqaa Valley all the way to the Mediterranean coast - slowly buying up land and fracturing traditional Christian districts.

Hezbollah has built a complete parallel state inside Lebanon - and it is quietly destroying the country’s ancient Christian communities through institutional capture, financial control, and demographic pressure.

This is not a story of gunmen kicking down doors. The real mechanism is much more structural and sophisticated.

By taking advantage of the total collapse of Lebanon’s official government, Hezbollah has turned the Christian communities - who were once the main architects of the modern Lebanese state - into an economically dependent and politically powerless minority.

This is a documented pattern that repeats case after case:

Highly trained teams of federal agents target vulnerable people - often isolated, struggling, and/or mentally ill - then hand them a full “terrorist plot,” the weapons, the cash, and nonstop pressure to carry it out.

Once the target takes the bait, the agents arrest them for the exact crime the government manufactured.

It delivers scary headlines, easy convictions, and bigger budgets.The threat was never real. It was invented by the agencies that “stopped” it.

That is the textbook definition of a racket.

We need to immediately ban manufactured-plot entrapment. Prosecute agents who are doing it. And stop rewarding the FBI for creating the very threats they are supposed to be preventing.

The FBI has a long history of corruption and misconduct that undermines the rule of law and our democratic principles. From COINTELPRO spying on/assassinating civil rights leaders and anti-war protesters, to the cover-up of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, to the FBI's framing of four innocent men for a murder in Boston, we have seen nonstop examples of the FBI abusing its power, covering up intelligence-related crimes, and violating the rights of American citizens. It has become extremely clear that the FBI is a rogue agency.

We need to abolish the FBI and create a new law enforcement apparatus that doesn’t constantly try to manufacture the crimes it’s supposed to be preventing and is strictly prohibited from engaging in (or covering up for) intelligence activities.
