A logical qubit sounds simple enough. But what makes it... logical? 🤔
Behind those two words lies one of the most complex challenges in quantum computing. ⚛️
The starting point is this: by encoding fragile quantum information across many physical qubits, you can create a logical qubit that you can run quantum error correction on.
This video gives a refresher on the intuition behind the logical qubit, but that's just the beginning.
