Qudra 2 contributes to agricultural development by rehabilitating agricultural infrastructure e.g. the extension and rehabilitation of irrigation canals, maintenance of flood gates, and water pumping stations, to secure irrigation for more farms and agricultural areas.

🇮🇶🧑‍🌾W/ support of @QudraProgramme, HIA has rehabilitated the Salamiyah pumping station in Iraq. These water pumps supply the 20km-long Al-Salamiyah irrigation channel w/ water, which is vital for the irrigation of 1750 Ha of farmland & directly benefits +700 farming families.

Health is a key element for serving refugees, IDPs and host community members. The renovation work has been concluded as a Quick Impact Project, a rapid instrument put in place by Qudra 2 as part of its commitment to support local authorities in improving basic service delivery.
