Last week I defended myself in court against the witch hunt by @HSBC_UK and their cohorts and won! Why do I use the term witch hunt? Because despite overwhelming evidence that they opened a fraudulent account in my name they weren’t interested about investigating, just that they had a name for £8k and that was enough to come after me. They showed complete contempt for our justice system and stated that it “Doesn’t matter that it was reported to @actionfrauduk and the Police”. That must suggest they had something concrete on me right? Well, their only defence for putting it on me was that I didn’t respond to one of their letters over a 3 year period and therefore it proves it was me. This was after I pointed out that they still hadn’t complied with my request before that letter to show me a signed agreement and ID. Which to this day they still haven’t provided. Here’s a full run down:

They still think I’ve reported myself to the police and still owe them £8k. This at an address I’ve never lived at.

My evidence:
✅Mortgage and other proof of address since 2007.
✅A MAGISTRATES already finding me not guilty in a separate case attached to the same address and same conditions.
✅@santanderuk bank offering a full apology and credit score action for allowing a fraudulent account from same fake address.
✅I was in hospital / under my mother’s care when the accounts were taken out.
✅Despite 3 requests from me HSBC are yet to provide a contract or agreement I signed, proof of ID & address accepted by them (doesn’t exist because it was 2021 and they wanted their pound of flesh despite covid preventing face to face. So they were just throwing credit out)
✅There is an ACTIVE police investigation going on for this and other cases with the same address and time period.

They fucked with the wrong Marine.

I’m posting this to show you all what a sham the system is. Encouraging us to report identity theft and hanging us out to dry. So the HSBC solicitors believe that the facts that I never took out this debt is to be overriden because they claim I didn’t fill out one of their fraud reports when I reported it… despite reporting it to the police. The banks truly act like they are above the law.

The judge thankfully saw sense and said my spoken evidence in court was compelling. She said despite the volume of other evidence, what stood firm was that any credit agreement needs a signature, ID, proof of address.

The next time this bunch of cowboys are in court they better send someone that doesn’t get his arse handed to him by an uneducated, working class Royal Marine. Because next time the shoe will be on the other foot and they’ll be in the dock.

I’m sure there are multiple other cases like this so please share for exposure. Now I wonder how best to reverse the tables of this absolute disgrace and everything it’s put me through over 3 years. @HughJamesLegal do you boys cover these??
