10:15 PM — WOMAN SHOT & KILLED AT TEMPLE HILLS PARK; HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting at Oxon Run Community Park that claimed the life of a Washington, D.C. woman Tuesday night.

On April 28, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers with the Maryland-National Capital Park Police (Prince George’s County Division) along with PGPD responded to the park for the report of an unresponsive woman in a parking lot.

Upon arrival, officers located 38-year-old Juanita Frazier of Washington, D.C., suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

🚨 The PGPD Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is actively working to identify a suspect or suspects and determine a motive.

Authorities confirmed that PGPD investigates all homicides occurring within the jurisdiction of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police in Prince George’s County.

💰 A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
