Dear Ekimogun APC leaders and members, thank you for your confidence in me.
I promise to continue delivering quality representation for our Ondo East/West constituency at the Green Chamber.

@AKakanfo Rewane had business foresight. He told Awo to invite British companies to the industrial estates.
He urged Awo to cede the majority shares to the companies and go to sleep. Indeed, it yielded mullions for the Western Region and those industrial estates are still there till date.
@AKakanfo Rewane rejected ministerial appointment despite his financial contribution to AG's success. Those days people only take appointments to serve.
If it were to be these amorous days, members of that WNDC 'd have shared all the buildings in those industrial estates among themselves.
@AKakanfo Rewane was extremely extraordinary. A trader who understood business early by exporting goods to UK in 1940s.
He so much believed in Awo that he was ready to spend his last shilling on him.
He was an Itsekiri but loved Awo dearly and called him "my brother from another mother".
@AKakanfo Alfred Rewane was the brain behind Awolowo's miracle in Western Region. He was extremely rich and determined to bankroll Awo till eternity.
He rejected ministerial slot Awọ offered him but only accepted to chair WNDC Board that built Ilupeju, Bódìjà Ind Estates, Cocoa House etc.
We thank God in all situations. A gutting way to end the tournament. The support & togetherness we’ve felt has been special. Sorry we couldn’t take it all the way, we fought and gave it our all. We’ll build on this. Not finished yet though, we still have something to push for. 💚
Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, Amb. (Dr) Mrs Rhoda Oluwatoberu Makinde.
You are my greatest adventure and will always be my knight in shining armour.
Wishing you a blissful year ahead.
