INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY
For this year’s theme from ICOM is Museums Uniting a Divided World.
And yet, there are currently only a handful of permanent LGBTQ+ museums worldwide with dedicated public spaces.
Thank you to all the LGBTQ+ museums preserving our history 🖤
IDAHOBIT is a global moment of solidarity for LGBTQIA+ communities, raising awareness of the discrimination queer people continue to face.
This year feels especially important amid the continued rise in homophobic and transphobic rhetoric.
