if you’re at @theAAG annual meeting and would like take a walk over lunch, there’s an important March for solidarity with queer youth happening right near by! @QTGAAG
Confirming what we all knew through one of the biggest trans surveys: Most trans adults say transitioning made them more satisfied with their lives. 🏳️⚧️

Senator John Fredrickson (@JohnforNE), the first openly gay man to serve in the Nebraska Senate, stood in front of the and told trans people through tears, “Heads up. Chins up. We’re survivors. Me standing in this room is proof of that.”
The filibuster there continues.
“So you’re saying that trans kids are too young to consent, but intersex kids aren’t?” asked Bria Brown-King, director of engagement for the intersex rights group InterAct. “How does that make sense?”

Hi! As we speak:
- the ceo of tiktok is being interrogated by congress with intent to ban TikTok in America
- anti lgbtqia legislation is being passed banning gender affirming health care & drag shows
- Jim Crow era laws are being reinstated in Mississippi
Well, it’s official. Georgia’s SB140 explicitly names autism, alongside “other mental health and developmental conditions,” as a justification for criminalizing gender-affirming healthcare.
Again and again, I say: ableism is the packaging in which transphobia is delivered.
the march is officially TOMORROW! thank you to everyone we’ve been closely working with to make sure this goes smoothly and assure our priorities are to the benefit of trans and queer people, safety, autonomy and joy ALWAYS ❤️❤️ we can’t wait to march with you all! 💕🏳️⚧️
I don’t want to talk about SROs, I don’t want to talk about hiring more officers, I don’t want to talk about the “necessity of a neighborhood watch.” I want to talk about systemic failures, lack of resources, lack of social support, and the root issues.
My heart goes out to the East High School community and the terrible tragedy they endured today. This reactionary response from Dr. Marrero ain't it. We know that having SROs at schools doesn't statistically increase safety, just increases policing of BIPOC students.
2 days left! we can’t wait to see you all on friday! it’s a beautiful thing to be a part of, even more so with y’all. thanks for helping make it happen. 💙💗🤍 #TransRightsAreHumanRights#transyouth#queerdenver
