[The Queer Queue @QueerQueue]

Our LGBTQIA+ community, we wanted to share a scene from a pilot we’ve submitted to @theblcklst for their annual partnership with @glaad! We tagged you because we trust your opinion. Let us know your thoughts & wish us luck! Thanks to The Black List & GLAAD. Here’s SEXUAL HEALING:

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

My end is a mass unmarked grave, wrapped in a plastic trash bag. Or, a rotting corpse alone and forgotten in an empty home. There is no dignity in life nor in death. I'd rather pull a Virginia Woolf ngl

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Y'all ain't even ready! One of my favorite films I saw this year. It's gonna blow up 2024. 🃏

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Officially decided: I'm abstaining from voting in 2024. Obviously would never vote for Donald Hitler Trump, but I am not voting for a war criminal sending billions to an apartheid state that could've been used to help OUR country. Fuck you @POTUS, and all your Democrat toadies 🐷

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Hated Maestro. Worse than watching Sean Penn play Harvey Milk. Appreciate Tár a lot more after that. 😂 Who would've thought the actor who said the line "paging dr. fagg*t" wouldn't know how to make a queer biopic? Boring, baity shit that defines the Oscars of the 21st century.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Fav. 60s films:

60: PSYCHO
61: THE HUMAN CONDITION: VOL. III
62: CLÉO FROM 5 TO 7
63: HIGH AND LOW
64: THE UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG
65: THE SOUND OF MUSIC
66: WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?
67: THE YOUNG GIRLS OF ROCHEFORT
68: NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
69: FUNERAL PARADE OF ROSES

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Yea, see this has been what we're hearing and not a surprise whatsoever. I thought we threw out all The Kids Are Alright and Dallas Buyers Club and Milk and etc. movies when it came to queer representation 🙄 Bradley Cooper just wanted his own Tár without any introspection.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

IT DOESN'T!

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

the character. their worst enemy.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Yes! Why people aren't shouting this from the rooftops, I don't understand. Truly chameleonic. That's not a word, but yea.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

This is why I love The Gilded Age! Bring this style back!

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Will be reassessing and I still need to see The Zone of Interest and Pacifiction. Might remove The Holdovers. Still need to add in some special mentions like Skinamarink, Afire, Monica, Joyland and Passages. Not my favorites, but very impactful films.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Today I learned I'm an actressexual. Is there a term for gays who can name every single actor who ever lived, or is that just every 🚬?

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Need this buddy crime thriller now.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Yea, hmm 🤔 Biden, isn't it YOUR job to protect YOUR people, the people who voted for you, the Jewish people in THIS country? Israel does NOT protect anyone in THIS country, Jewish or not, nor any Jewish person in other parts of this world. Biden is just a mouthpiece for Zionism.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

The three white boy types: Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Fuck you, gay traitor @GovofCO.

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

The Globes gonna Globe, but nominations, good?

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Going back to work today has been so busy that I forgot to mention I interviewed Andrew Haigh, Claire Foy and Jamie Bell! Get ready for a ton of words on All of Us Strangers 😎

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

Difference being?

[Nic Austin (he/they) @NicAustinNQC]

May December is the perfect representation of balancing humor and the tragedy at the center of it without it being a dark comedy. Idk how anyone could say May December is a comedy when you have Charles Melton's Joe as the throughline. God I just wanted to hold him! Y'all THINK?🙄
