Arday (or someone representing him) had the police called on a Times Higher Education journalist for asking questions last year (the same journalist also received legal threats).

And it was the Guardian who broke the story about claims regarding a pigs head being sent to him, which the police said they had no evidence for.

There’s no need to obscure the facts, and distort reality, because of the fact that the story had far more coverage than might otherwise be expected. Both things can be true.
