This Laravel package has saved me sooooo much time!
- Translate and proofread with AI (any model)
- Identify missing translations
- Detect unused translations in your entire codebase
- Extremely flexible and customizable
@joetannenbaum The method « debounceFor » documented in the changelog actually doesn’t exist in the framework and is only documented in the changelog, not in the docs
What vibe coders don’t seem to understand is this: your app will never be « done. » Even if the AI-generated code is perfect, the product won’t be.
There will always be edge cases, new requirements, and scaling limits waiting for you and this will take your time.
And maintaining everything yourself is rarely worth it.
I will never vibe-code a SaaS just to save money.
Over the past 2 years, I’ve tried multiple times to self-host open-source tools to cut costs. Every single time, I ended up going back to the managed paid SaaS.
I don’t want to spend more than 10 minutes a year thinking about a non-critical service.
I’m starting to go crazy.
For some reason, my Laravel app becomes 2x slower every time I deploy a new release, but rebooting the server instantly fixes it.
Has anyone else run into this? 🤯
My stack is pretty basic
- Laravel on Forge with PHP-FPM
- PlanetScale DB

@jbrooksuk@laravelphp It would be absolutely wonderful if Forge could automatically suggest values for php-fpm spare_servers!
A simplier version would be sending an alert when requests are dropped.
Having a UI similar to Max Execution Time would be great too.
