Unfortunately, I can't make the @ucuedinburgh branch meeting tomorrow, but I hope someone tables a motion to explain to Peter Mathieson what he can do with his proposal. Ideally, in graphic detail.

The principal has, a week after it was reported that he has been given a 12% payrise, sent an email asking if staff engaged in the MAB would consider undermining it exchange for full pay, but no progress on the dispute itself.

Still furious about this. How fucking collossally out of touch do you have to be to take a 12% payrise when your staff are engaged in industrial action, and finance staff are having to manually process the pay deductions because of a failed IT procurement?!

His payrise is equivalent to the entire annual salary of a senior postdoc. Spine point 36, the final UE07 normal grade point is £43,155.
