Been listening to @serial’s new season about Guantanamo. You should too. Solid work based on a decade of reporting. To me, the latest ep is the most important one. 🧵

Just when I think I’m burnt out and done with podcasting. I hear a story like this. And I remember why I love this medium so much. @marysdesk reporting is incredible.
Jessie, a @NeverUseAlone operator, tried for years to force her daughter to change. When nothing worked, she came around to a whole new way of thinking. https://t.co/gRy7tdkC31
My podcasting contract conveniently ended two weeks before giving birth to my second child. (Even though I was in the middle of launching new projects). So just like much of the audio industry I’m out of work. DM or drop me line if looking to collaborate.
I also have been working in audio reporting since I was 15. I’m a little burnt out. So I am also on the verge of wanting to leave it all and start an adorable coffee company.
Having a layoff date coming up, it’s been wild to sit back and look at the current media landscape, especially the podcasting landscape. I have some really solid stories to tell, and I keep wondering…. where will I be able to tell them?
