Adventure Athlete: 1st openly trans person Naked&Afraid/Iditarod - Musher: ’22 Rookie of the Year, Sportsmanship Award, Best Kept Team x2 - I ❤️ @blairbraverman
Not sure how long twitter will last, but our pups aren't going anywhere; & you can follow them here, too. (We'll never let insurrectionist ex-presidents on, & posts are all designed to leave you feeling uplifted, not more stressed than when you signed on.) https://t.co/yrNIPCGCXo
For my young #trans friends especially, I want you to know that we can get thru this. These election results in no way reflect or diminish our tremendous strength, resolve, & creativity.
We will find a way. Many ways, actually.
Can I encourage you to stick around & find out?
@Kellieherring It's true. We've been thru a lot. I feel for younger ones who have faced such tremendous "backlash" after having systemic support in certain ways that weren't available when I was younger. It's a helluva rug pull.
I’m not saying #uglydogsisland needs to be a thing, but, just as a thought exercise, what would y’all do to honor this beautiful @LakeSuperior island?

@tmzinnen@jtrebach I like your ideas. Cooker fuel is usually provided by the races, though, so change would need to be systemic. Also, many of the villages where races take place are “dry.” But this is something to keep in mind for personal use. Thank you.
