Affordability is top of mind for Canadians. That’s why we’ve:
🧸 Boosted the CCB to put more money in the pockets of 9/10 families
🎓 Eliminated interest on federal student and apprentice loans
🏠 Invested to build affordable housing faster and support low-income renters
Prudent fiscal management will help us to direct taxpayer dollars to priorities such as the green economy, dental and health benefits and other supports for Canadians.
We continue to urgently mobilize resources in the Northwest Territories – and we stand ready to provide support in Kelowna. We’ll continue to do whatever is necessary to keep Canadians safe, and we’ll make sure they have the support they need this wildfire season and beyond.
This week has been tough for Yellowknife residents. To those I spoke with yesterday in Edmonton, and to those who have been evacuated elsewhere: We’ve got your back, and we’ll continue to provide the support you and your community need.
