This week Kyiv was hit by missiles & Irish politicians are STILL defending the refinery supplying Russia’s war machine.
Today, another ship sailed from Ireland to Russia.
For years, the government tried to cover this up. Now the truth is coming out

@neil_grib1878@CNN He’s going to win, that’s what people want if he’s gonna face the music. But if he wins that means regardless of all of this they’re gonna vote for him and who’s to say he wouldn’t win again if he was suspended and another by-elected had to be held
@neil_grib1878@CNN I think you’ve misunderstood what I was trying to say, my fault not yours. I wasn’t talking about if he’s found to be at fault. What I meant was we’re just hoping that the people who voted him in don’t do it again, that’s what we’re leaving up to ifs by no one else running IMO
@ItsMeMTJohnson@Stoneswithholes@Thorin Yeah but you also have the most school shooters, it’s swings in roundabouts and your roundabout is a lot deadlier than ours
@BottledHops@CNN Especially considering that no one is challenging him. I understand the tactic, don’t agree with it but I understand it. But if it were me in clacton I’d want an option to just get rid of him considering there’s no guarantee that the investigation will actually do anything
@BottledHops@CNN Not disputing that he broke rules, I’m asking you why the truth coming out is going to change anything when the people that voted for him are already the types that think all of this is a farce
@BottledHops@CNN As I’ve said a few times now I think it’s a lot safer to just run against him. Sure he’s more likely to get away with what he’s done but there’s no guarantee the investigation would actually lead to real consequences, it’s just assumed. I do not work with assumptions.
@BottledHops@CNN Even if 10% of clacton did sign to say they want another election during his suspension you still need the majority to vote against him, is that guaranteed. I would like to think so, I really would, but I don’t
