I left a Minecraft server completely exposed to the internet with zero security measures. The results? Over 1,000 connections (mostly bots) and the server handled it like a champ. The metrics are wild.
My lightweight Minecraft limbo server written in Rust now has a page on SpigotMC after a week of being under review!

One day I got bored and decided to write my own Minecraft server from scratch in #rustlang. It supports all versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.5 with the same binary. However it is a limbo server, not a complete rewrite of the game, it only has a void world.
Currently building a physics engine in #Rust and #bevyengine from scratch.
Playing around with collisions and gravity simulation, I was amazed to see objects naturally entering in orbit by their own!
Still work in progress.
@izutorishima ใใใใกใฏใThe RK3588's NPU wasn't designed to support llama's architecture, thus it is slower than using the CPU
However, thanks to recent work on llama.cpp now supporting Vulcan we should be able to take advantage of the GPU instead
