This is my first post about my WIP. It's a psychological thriller about to go through its second draft. And I can't wait to see where this wild little tale ends up.
Spence might have to make the move to the better side of North London. Arteta will mould him into a menace with better defensive discipline. He can become a lethal all-rounder under the right master. But I doubt he has the cojones to claim the destiny awaiting him in red & white.
Now, multiply this by a couple of thousands and ask yourself how any country survives corruption at this scale. This is why Nigerians have lost hope in this experiment. These people have killed a country in its infancy, and, if I had my way, they would all get the guillotine.
EFCC Secures Final Forfeiture of 48 Properties Linked to Malami
The EFCC, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, secured the final forfeiture of 48 properties linked to a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, to the Federal Government of Nigeria. Delivering judgment, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Abuja, held that the Commission had successfully established that the properties were reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities and were not acquired with lawful sources of income.

BTW, that's the worst low block I've seen throughout the competition. I almost believed every team at the WC had perfected haramball until I watched England try to do it. The gulf in that defence was so wide that the Titanic would have had a better chance of sailing through it.
England really could've won it if Tuchel hadn't parked a windowless bus so early & while his team had the momentum too. Football is a team effort, but, as brilliant as he is, most of the blame for this loss is on him. He doubted his team & another chance to win it goes begging.
The level of talent Norway brought to this WC was genuinely incredible. They went up against multiple favorites and looked like contenders until the very end. I won't be surprised if they do even better in Saudi Arabia, when most of this team will be in their prime years.
The USMNT are dropping the worst performance of the round so far. Belgium are certainly the better team on paper, but this is just the US playing against themselves. They're too frantic for a game of this caliber. It's almost as if Belgium knew the game was going to go like this.
@mitch_fretton If Balogun is raging, then he doesn't know the flag he plays for. This is his taste of that good ol' American Dream. Anything is possible when you represent the most powerful nation in the world. This is Infantino's birthday gift to the US and Balogun's divine intervention.
I doubt any other country in the world could have pulled off what the US just did. And it's really fascinating to see how Infantino's servility has extended the reach of Trump's contempt for institutions. This is pure corruption, and FIFA, once again, has answered to its name.
I've never seen a more inspiring team than Cape Verde in my life. The fearlessness they showed throughout their run will forever be remembered by everyone who witnessed it. Those who didn't see it will hardly believe it. Yet I can't shake off the hunger for what you almost did π«‘
If what Aso Rock is saying is true, then Prince Adeyemi is the Nigerian prince of Nigerian princes. He has to be up there with the likes of Charles Ponzi and Bernie Madoff. But, of course, he can't be, because he is nothing like them. Those guys were crooks.
I went to sleep believing Senegal had beaten Belgium. I still don't understand why they fell apart like that with the game virtually in the bag, but they only have themselves to blame. They were one of Africa's biggest hopes, now that mantle totally belongs to Morocco.
The USMNT should be able to get past Belgium without Balogun. It just sucks to go into the crucial tie without such an important player. They'll miss him for sure. Hopefully, Pepi can step up his game and be the striker they need on the day.
