Liverpool have spent £633.5m in just over a year & they don't have a midfield. Alexis Mac Allister is a fossil, Dominik Szoboszlai has to play next to him because they're shoehorning Florian Wirtz ahead of him at #10 because he cost £116m.

They spent £204m on Alexander Isak & Hugo Ekitike, who play the same position. They bought Victor Munoz for £35m, only to drop £123m on Bradley Barcola two months later, they play the same position too. And that isn't even mentioning how bad their full backs are.

I thought Manchester United used to have bad squad planning under Ed Woodward.. this is something else.

So Liverpool are allowed to make three £120m+ signings in just two seasons, with two of them being monumental flops so far, and somehow the media is quiet about it.

Zero pressure. Zero scrutiny. Zero talking points.

Those signings have taken them from title winners to scrapping 4th/5th, yet they’re under zero media scrutiny.

If this were Arsenal or Manchester United, the media would be talking about it and scrutinizing them every single day.

Liverpool are genuinely the media pets.

It’s a tax on moving.

People stay in homes that no longer suit them.
Older couples stay in houses too big for them.
Young families can’t move up.
Builders lose buyers.

The whole market gets clogged.

Then the Treasury wonders why housing is broken.

On a £600k house, stamp duty is £20,000.

That’s a deposit.
A kitchen.
A year’s breathing room.

Gone.
Just to change address.

If you tax people every time they move, fewer people move.

That’s not complicated.

It doesn’t just hit the rich.
It freezes the whole market.

And all of us pay the price.
