He's been a player of ours, given his all, why can't people just thank him, show appreciation and wish him the best. Far worse have been given better send offs

@_the_a_bis I wouldn't say it does - I just don't understand why people would celebrate someone leaving. If he goes, thank him for his service and wish him the best.
I can think of worse players to leave the club, but there be no where near as many celebrations when they did.

@sjpatel212 Very early to tell. But for someone that has only been here less than a week, he looked comfortable able to go forward, able to defend, quick balls in the box and good movement on and off the ball. But it was v a lesser team. Positive first impression.

@wba_ah It's not as bad as some make out - but having the same partnership for as long as we have (diakite coming in mid season last aside) it does need freshening up - also competition for places forces people to step up their game
