Stronger together. 💪🐕
Greyhounds are some of the gentlest, most affectionate souls on the planet. They belong on couches and in loving homes, not on tracks being pushed to their limits.
I’m standing up for these incredible dogs because they deserve a life of safety, rest, and unconditional love—not a "career" in racing. It’s time to put their welfare first.

10 THINGS YOUR DOG WOULD TELL YOU...
1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful: remember that before you get me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me- it is crucial to my well being.
4. Do not be angry at me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment.
5. You have your work, your entertainment, and your friends. I only have you.
6. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understands your words, I understand your voice when it is speaking to me.
7. Be aware that how ever you treat me, I will never forget.
8. Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that could easily hurt you, but I choose not to bite you because I love you.
9. Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate, or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I might not be getting the right food, or I have been out too long, or my heart is getting too old and weak.
10. Take care of me when I get old; you too will grow old. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say: “I cannot bear to watch” or “Let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there, even my death.
Patrick Swayze once remarked, "People told me my house smelled like dogs, and I asked them, do you even know what a dog smells like? It smells like gratitude, loyalty, nobility, affection, and pure, unconditional love. Despite everything they’ve been through, they carry no scent of resentment. I feel blessed that my house smells like dogs."
Isn’t this the perfect reminder that true blessings can’t be measured by society’s standards? Patrick Swayze beautifully articulated what we devoted dog lovers have always known—that a home filled with the presence of our loyal companions is truly filled with love, not just a "dog smell." When our hearts overflow with joy and gratitude from our four-legged angels, why should we care what others think about our homes? After all, the most precious things in life are invisible to the eye but deeply felt... and sometimes, yes, even smelled. ❤️
I hope that you are having a really fab day so far, lovely people and lovely dogs.
Hooray for having a dog best friend.
I am wishing you the very best.

Meet Barry, a dog so scared of fireworks that he won’t go to the toilet. 💔
Owned by one of our team, Barry is one of the many animals affected by fireworks, making celebrations like #NewYearsEve very challenging.
Please prioritise pets and rethink any fireworks plans. 🎇
