Yasin Malik’s men didn’t stop at raping the 27-year-old Kashmiri Hindu nurse Sarla Bhatt. They then murdered her, engraved the acronym ‘JKLF’ on her body, and mutilated it out of sheer contempt for her Hindu identity. After that, they issued multiple warnings to her family against cremating her remains according to Hindu rituals. The family still went ahead with the cremation, defying the threats. When they went to collect her cremated remains (asthi) later, a mob of around 200 Islamists descended upon the crematorium and stomped over them.

They didn’t stop even at that. They then bombed her family home with a grenade.

Do you really think all 200 of those monsters who showed up at the crematorium were foreign infiltrators, Pakistani terrorists, or JKLF members? These are the questions that make many Kashmiri Muslims very uncomfortable. The moment you raise these issues, especially when they present a narrative portraying their community as victims, they label you an Islamophobe or resort to similar accusations.

I have seen all kinds of Islamists, but the tribe in Kashmir is the craftiest. Many of them pretend to be atheists in private, yet their public behaviour and political leanings tell a completely different story. Very hard to take their words at face value.

It is often claimed by some that Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi had Muslim ancestry. However, according to the text, far fewer people are aware of what it alleges about Mahatma Gandhi's family background. It then presents the following assertions:

1. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the son of Putlibai, the fourth wife of Karamchand Gandhi.

The text claims that Putlibai originally belonged to the Pranami sect and further alleges that this sect was an Islamic organization disguised in Hindu attire.

2. It cites Mr. Ghosh's book *The Quran and the Kafir*, claiming that Gandhi's origins are discussed there.

According to the text, Karamchand Gandhi worked for a Muslim landlord. It alleges that he stole money from his employer and fled. It further claims that the landlord then took Karamchand's fourth wife, Putlibai, into his household as his wife, and that Karamchand remained in hiding for three years before Mohandas Gandhi was born.

3. The text claims that Gandhi was born and raised among Gujarati Muslims.

4. It further alleges that the expenses for Gandhi's education, including his studies at law college in London, were paid by his Muslim father.

5. It also claims that Muslims helped Gandhi establish his legal practice in South Africa.

6. According to the text, Gandhi was associated with the Anjuman-e-Islamia organization while in London.

The passage then argues that these claims explain what it describes as Gandhi's pro-Muslim inclination.

It goes on to attribute the following statements to Gandhi:

• "Even if Hindus are killed by Muslims, Hindus should remain silent and should not be angry with them."

• "We should not fear death."

• "Let us embrace a heroic death."

The passage asks what these statements imply and argues that Gandhi never adopted a pro-Hindu position during the freedom struggle, instead repeatedly speaking in favor of Muslims.

It also claims that Gandhi refused to sign a petition seeking clemency for Bhagat Singh and other revolutionaries before their execution, adding that Annie Besant criticized him for this.

The passage further lists the following allegations regarding Gandhi:

1. He defended Abdul Rashid, the assassin of Swami Shraddhanand.

2. He supported the Khilafat Movement in Turkey, which, according to the text, led Dr. K. B. Hedgewar to sever ties with Gandhi and establish the RSS.

3. Despite Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel allegedly having majority support, the text claims Gandhi ensured that Jawaharlal Nehru became India's first Prime Minister. It also alleges that Nehru was a Muslim and that the title "Pandit" was used to mislead the public.

4. It claims Gandhi went on a fast to pressure the government into releasing ₹55 crore to Pakistan after Partition.

5. Finally, the passage alleges that Gandhi consistently appeased Muslims, insulted Hindus, and reduced Hindus to second-class citizens in India, claiming that this approach has continued through politicians who follow Gandhian ideology.
