An important testimony and statement by @SharleneWe2765@kinsellawarren will be speaking @queensu tomorrow evening. I’m sure he’ll have something to say about what transpired in Belleville. Register here: https://t.co/5tALjp7uqN
Honoured by this, grateful she bore witness.
"Warren Kinsella’s recent award-winning book, The Hidden Hand, devastatingly traces the information war against Jews that has been waged across the world. The information war is working when Canadians are incited to kill Canadians because of their faith and connection to Israel."

Survivor of Belleville Sons of Jacob terror attack in the National Post: https://t.co/y89YDngqCu
@stephaniebowman Thank you for the message but the graphic is wrong. All it takes is asking one Jew! Do you have any Jewish people working in your campaign? If not, how can we trust you to have our community’s needs in mind as leader?
At the B’nai Brith Canada Kingston Lodge Annual Dinner Gala, Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson delivered an unequivocal message about the need to confront antisemitism directly and publicly, and about the responsibility of leaders and communities to stand with Jewish Canadians.
He reminded everyone in the room that moments like this are a test of civic character: whether we treat antisemitism as someone else’s issue, or whether we recognize it as a threat to the kind of inclusive, pluralistic society Canadians expect and deserve. He urged people not to look away, not to rationalize, and not to wait for others to speak first.
Mayor Paterson’s remarks were a clear call for solidarity that goes beyond statements. He emphasized that leadership means showing up, speaking with clarity, and taking action when communities are targeted, and that the broader community has a role to play in pushing back against hate wherever it appears.
In recognition of that leadership, we were proud to present Mayor Paterson with a Leadership Award for Combatting Antisemitism, presented by Doug Springer, Michael Springer, Bryon Springer and Adam Koven on behalf of B’nai Brith Kingston Lodge.
Thank you, @MayorPaterson, for your moral clarity and for showing what principled leadership looks like.

During the Vice Presidential debate, the moderator asked each candidate: would you support Israel launching a preemptive strike against Iran?
The word choice ‘preemptive’ falsely portrays Israel as the aggressor. If Israel were to take action against Iran, it would not be acting “preemptively.” It would be acting defensively.
Israel would be responding to the largest barrage of ballistic missiles that has ever been unleashed against a nation state.
Hey, LGBTQ folks: "The official documents of Hamas's "rulebook" reveal brutal behavior against anyone suspected of belonging to the LGBTQ community. Documentation of interrogations and testimonies about aggressive questioning focused solely on sexual preferences was found, indicating that those suspected of being part of the LGBTQ community faced a single fate – death." https://t.co/RORMaA3aTz
This is from France, but it could be any Jewish community, anywhere in the world.
This isn’t 1938–it’s 2024.
When fear wins, hate wins.
Don’t let it happen here. Enough is enough.
The latest vandalism of two synagogues in Toronto this weekend and the countless other attacks on the Jewish community across Canada need urgent action by government leaders at all three levels as well as law enforcement.
The permissive environment that continues has been created by:
1. The lack of response by the vast majority of non-Jewish Canadians, including leaders, to the terrorizing of Jewish communities and neighbourhoods.
2. The lack of a full public safety effort to address this country-wide violence
3. Treating Jewish identity and Jewish values as controversial or political.
Municipal leaders in Toronto and other major cities must act. And I once again call for a national Fed-Prov-Territorial campaign to address the escalating violence.
We must act before it's too late.
In this thread, I’m going to go into some detail about what the phrase “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” means to many Jewish people. You may not agree, but I hope that it may enlighten those who simply don't understand the almost visceral reaction to it.

For months, the president of @SUNY_Purchase - a *public* university - has been completely dismissive of the rampant antisemitism on her campus.
Now, she has capitulated to *every* demand of the pro-Hamas mob at her school.
This where Esti Heller comes in.
Esti is the head of the Hillel chapter at the university. Instead of enjoying her senior year, she was forced to be the only adult in the room, fighting antisemitism while the president of the university (@PurchasePreswhose) - whose salary is paid from taxpayers' money - did nothing.
The Jewish students of SUNY Purchase have had enough.
Esti has had enough.
Please take a moment to read her extremely powerful message to the president of her university.
Jewish students are raising their voices.
It is our responsibility to listen and amplify them.
Please share this with the world.
@DeborahLyonsSE@Joe_Roberts01 Also so misinformed. The menorah is the ultimate political symbol. Even if they mistook it for the chanukiah, all the more so! (And the menorah has no ritual significance!)
@Beaf333@Joe_Roberts01@YRDSB And…wait for it…the menorah is not used in any current religious ritual.
It will be used once the Temple is rebuilt on the spot that is currently occupied by The Dome of the Rock. Just saying.
@Beaf333@Joe_Roberts01@YRDSB Exactly. Not only that but the chanukiyah is a symbol of Jewish national strength and triumph over forces who tried to expel us from our land & force their religion on us.
That particular menorah outside the Knesset was a gift of France to celebrate Israeli’s independence.
My son attends Concordia. He has to walk through this every day.
I wonder what these Jihadists think they’re accomplishing. I mean—does this help the people of Gaza? Or just intimidate Jewish students?
Another day at Canada’s favorite Jihadist university, @Concordia. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that @Concordia President Graham Carr is actually the coward hiding behind the red keffiyeh. VP Di Grappa prefers the white ones.
This is INSANE! @Columbia When Jewish students are harmed at your school, you will have blood on your hands. There is no such thing as an innocent bystander.
Hey, want to read about something really fucked-up about @Columbia?
Here's a thread about the utter and complete moral bankruptcy of @Columbia's President and entire leadership
