#WATCH | Chandigarh: On the Punjab government withdrew its petition against the Enforcement Directorate's operation at the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, Additional Solicitor General of India Satya Pal Jain says, "Regarding the petition filed yesterday by the Deputy Secretary of the Punjab government, the matter came up for a hearing. Last night, the judge appointed a Local Commissioner to gather information about the individuals involved in the ongoing survey. That officer visited the site, spoke to everyone, and submitted the report to the court today. On behalf of the ED, we stated that everything we are doing is in accordance with the law... We also prepared a record for the two-to-three-day survey, which bears the signatures of the officers present... Following the arguments, the petitioner withdrew the plea... We have placed our objection on record: should they file another petition, our right to challenge their authority to do so remains open..."
