The NYPD is increasing deployments to mosques across the city out of an abundance of caution. There are currently no known threats to NYC houses of worship.
Thinking of all the community elders on whose shoulders we stand. It was on this day in 1947 that, because of their sacrifices, we gained the right to vote in this country. I will always be indebted to them for making it possible for me to serve in the BC legislature.
