If this is your full opinion then you need to just get over it. โWe need night racing, it grows the sportโ
Ok, then what do you propose? We stop the race & continue Monday? Thatโs dumb. Do we run in the daytime? Then we donโt have a night race. It rained, this is just part of it
The issue isn't having Sunday night races -- I'm all for it and think it's a good thing to grow the sport, especially during the summer. The problem is that the Nashville race didn't end until after midnight on the east coast and that's a problem.
Feels like SVG, Stenhouse, Larson, Suarez, even Dinger last week have shown some impressive speed we havenโt seen from the Chevys much this year. Did the Chevy teams hit on something, you think?
Mind you it was 9pm on the west coast. Not everyone lives in EST.
Also there is no alternative here. You run the race as soon as you can manage to run it before having to postpone till Monday. Such an invented complaint

Best average finish over the last three races
(Watkins Glen - Charlotte - Nashville)
Tyler Reddick - 5.0
Shane van Gisbergen - 5.67
Denny Hamlin - 6.67
Shane van Gisbergen's quotes are quickly becoming my favorite:
"It's amazing, you start up front, and your car feels so nice, and then you go to the back on strategy, and it just felt like a bucket of shit."
