South Korea builds nuclear at $3bn per GW.
UAE builds nuclear at $4.5bn per GW.
Japan builds nuclear at $4bn per GW.
The UK builds nuclear at $15bn per GW.
And why is that? Because the green lobby and ONR have ensured the sector has become so wrapped in regulation and bureaucracy alongside our eye wateringly high industrial electricity costs that they are impossible to build cheaply. They refuse to take the APR-1400 design directly.
It's a tragedy that as world leaders in nuclear we are now the laughing stock of the world.
Vollkommen ausreichend.
SHERMER: “Do you ever get any women in their second half of the second trimester or in the third trimester that say they have no medical problems—they just don't want the baby, or changed their mind? Would you do it?”
DR. HERN: “Of course. If the woman doesn't want to be pregnant, there's no justification for forcing her to continue the pregnancy.”
SHERMER: “Has that happened?”
DR. HERN: “It happens all the time. She has a potentially fatal condition that can kill her.”
SHERMER: “No, no. I mean, if she has no medical problems…”
DR. HERN: “The medical problem is that she's pregnant.”

@_noelfreeman@thurmanlady1@annamlulis That makes zero medical sense. A late-term abortion procedure in the 3rd trimester takes 2 to 4 days (cervical dilation, feticide, induction). In an acute medical emergency, a C-section takes minutes.
@nachtscout@c4tcreation Nebelkerze.
