The malfoids are starting to evaporate from my timeline. I must not let them disappear! More more more! Another piece of art with some fanfiction.

Don't Leave Me, Potter
=====================
I hated the Forbidden Forest.
I hated the trees, the darkness, the horrible noises coming from things I couldn't see.
And most of all, I hated that Harry Potter seemed determined to pretend he wasn't frightened.
“Would you stop walking so fast?” I hissed.
Potter glanced over his shoulder.
“I'm not walking fast, Malfoy.”
“Well, your legs are longer than mine.”
“They're not.”
“Shut up.”
He sighed.
Insufferable boy.
I moved closer anyway.
Our lantern swung between us, throwing trembling patches of golden light across the forest floor. Every snapped twig made me jump. Every rustle of leaves made my stomach twist.
Then we found the unicorn.
It lay motionless in the clearing, its beautiful white coat shining beneath the moonlight.
My breath caught.
“Potter…”
“I see it.”
Something was crouched over the creature.
Something black.
Something wrong.
A hooded figure, bent unnaturally low, its face hidden against the unicorn's neck.
For a moment, neither of us moved.
Then the figure raised its head.
Silver liquid dripped from beneath its hood.
My blood turned to ice.
“Harry…”
I hadn't meant to use his first name.
I didn't even notice.
My fingers found his around the lantern handle.
He gripped them back.
“Malfoy,” he whispered, “don't move.”
The thing turned toward us.
And suddenly, I couldn't breathe.
Its face was nothing but darkness.
It began to rise.
Potter's hand tightened around mine.
Then the creature moved.
I screamed.
I don't remember letting go.
I don't remember turning.
One moment Harry was beside me, and the next I was running.
Branches tore at my robes. My hair caught on twigs. My shoes slipped in the mud.
I ran until my lungs burned.
“HELP!” I shrieked. “SOMEBODY HELP!”
I stumbled over a root, caught myself against a tree, and kept going.
Stupid forest.
Stupid detention.
Stupid Potter and his stupid Gryffindor bravery.
“Potter!”
I glanced behind me.
Nothing.
Only trees.
I slowed.
“Potter?”
He wasn't there.
I stopped completely.
The forest seemed to swallow every sound.
“Harry?”
Nothing.
My heart began hammering harder than it had when I'd seen the creature.
No.
No, he'd been right behind me.
He must have been.
I'd felt his hand in mine.
He'd been holding the lantern.
I looked down.
My hand was empty.
“Potter!” I called, louder this time.
Silence.
I turned in a frantic circle.
“Harry Potter, this isn't funny!”
A branch creaked somewhere in the darkness.
I flinched.
Then I waited.
For his irritating voice.
For him to step out from behind a tree and tell me I was being ridiculous.
For those stupid round glasses to appear in the moonlight.
Nothing.
My throat tightened.
I left him.
The thought arrived so suddenly that I felt sick.
I'd run.
I'd actually run away and left him standing there with that horrible thing.
Alone.
“Oh, no…”
My voice sounded very small.
I took a step back toward the clearing.
Then another.
“Harry?”
My eyes began stinging.
I rubbed them furiously.
Malfoys did not cry.
Especially not over Gryffindors.
Especially not over Harry bloody Potter.
But what if that thing had caught him?
What if he was lying on the ground like the unicorn?
What if-
“No.”
My voice broke.
“No, no, no…”
I tried to remember which direction I'd come from.
Every tree looked the same.
I couldn't even see the lantern anymore.
“Harry!” I screamed.
My voice cracked horribly.
“POTTER!”
Nothing answered.
And then I was crying.
Not a few dignified tears.
Proper, humiliating, frightened sobs that made my chest hurt.
“You stupid boy,” I whispered, wiping my face with my sleeve. “You stupid, stupid boy…”
I hated him.
I hated that he'd stayed.
I hated that he always had to be brave.
I hated that I hadn't been brave enough to stay with him.
And I hated, more than anything, that I couldn't remember whether I'd been the one to let go of his hand.
I stumbled back toward the darkness.
“Harry, please…”
My voice trembled.
“I didn't mean to leave you.”
Something rustled nearby.
I froze.
“Harry?”
For one desperate second, I hoped.
Then a distant voice called my name.
“Malfoy!”
Hagrid.
I turned toward the sound, tears spilling down my cheeks.
“HAGRID!”
Heavy footsteps crashed through the undergrowth.
“What's happened? Where's Harry?”
I couldn't answer properly.
I grabbed his coat with both hands.
“The unicorn-there was something-something horrible-and Harry-”
I choked.
Hagrid's face changed.
“Where's Harry?”
“I don't know!”
The words came out as a sob.
“I ran, and he was behind me, and then he wasn't, and I can't find him-”
I pulled desperately at Hagrid's sleeve.
“Please! You have to find him!”
“Now, calm yerself-”
“NO!”
I'd never shouted at an adult like that in my life.
“Don't tell me to calm down! He's still out there!”
My voice collapsed.
“He's all alone.”
Hagrid lifted his crossbow and looked toward the trees.
I clutched his coat tighter.
“Please,” I whispered. “Please don't let him be dead.”
Because Harry Potter was supposed to be sitting across the Great Hall tomorrow morning, looking smug over his breakfast.
He was supposed to annoy me in Potions.
He was supposed to argue with me in the corridors.
He was supposed to look at me with those infuriating green eyes and call me Malfoy like it was the worst word he knew.
He wasn't supposed to disappear into the forest.
And as Hagrid hurried toward the clearing, I followed as quickly as my shaking legs would carry me.
I didn't care about the unicorn anymore.
I didn't care about detention.
I didn't even care if Potter laughed at me for crying.
I just wanted him back.
Please be alive, Harry.
Please.
I'll never let go of your hand again.
@FrazHoehle Perfect possible case of the modern 'architect' turning a house or room with personality and colour into soulless emotionless black and white slop.
Greatly hope the upgrade is on the left
I need to take a break after this one I feel, and I hope the trend doesn't die before I continue! Although I might just continue regardless :P. I've been arting constantly the past few days but I hope you've enjoyed them! Added a bit of fanfiction again below.

========
I found Potter alone in the corridor after dinner.
Good.
I'd been looking for him.
He barely had time to register me before I caught the front of his robes and shoved him back against the stone wall.
“Malfoy-”
“What were you thinking?”
His eyes widened behind those stupid round glasses.
I leaned closer.
“The troll, Potter. What exactly was the plan? March into the girls' toilets, get yourself flattened, and hope someone writes a flattering paragraph about you afterward?”
His surprise hardened into annoyance.
“Hermione was in there.”
“I know.”
That was precisely the problem.
I'd heard the story three times already. Potter and Weasley had gone after the troll because Granger hadn't known it was loose.
Idiots.
Especially Potter.
He'd actually gone toward the thing.
For her.
“So that's it?” I asked. “Granger gets herself trapped with a mountain troll and you decide to risk your neck saving a Mudblood?”
His face changed immediately.
“Don't call her that.”
I blinked.
Interesting.
My fingers tightened around his tie.
“What?”
“You heard me.”
There it was again.
That ridiculous Potter bravery.
He'd faced a twelve foot troll a few hours ago, and apparently that hadn't satisfied him, because now he was glaring at me as though I ought to be frightened.
I moved closer instead.
“You really are stupid, aren't you?”
“Get off me, Malfoy.”
“No.”
I gave his tie a small tug, bringing his face nearer mine.
He went slightly pink.
That improved my mood considerably.
“You could have been killed.”
“I wasn't.”
“But you could have been.”
“Why do you care?”
My thoughts stopped.
I stared at him.
Potter stared back.
“I don't,” I said.
Too quickly.
His eyebrows lifted.
I hated him.
“I just think,” I continued, recovering, “that it's rather pathetic. the great Harry Potter, throwing himself at a troll because Granger needed rescuing.”
“She could've died.”
“So?”
The word came out sharper than I'd intended.
His expression darkened.
And that annoyed me even more because I knew exactly what he was thinking.
Brave Potter.
Kind Potter.
Risking his life for people he'd barely known for months.
Perhaps the Sorting Hat had been right about him after all.
I hated that thought most of all.
“You'd have done it for anyone, then?” I asked.
“Yes.”
“Anyone?”
“Yes, Malfoy.”
“Weasley?”
“Yes.”
“Longbottom?”
“Yes.”
I hesitated.
“Me?”
Potter opened his mouth.
Nothing came out.
For some reason, my heart gave a ridiculous little thump.
Then he frowned.
“What's that got to do with anything?”
“Nothing.”
I should have let him go.
Instead, my gaze dropped to the Gryffindor tie twisted around my fingers.
Red and gold.
Hideous colours.
I thought of Granger crying in the toilets.
Potter hearing there was a troll.
Potter immediately running after her.
Something unpleasant curled in my stomach.
I looked back up at him.
“Do you fancy her?”
Potter stared.
“What?”
“Granger.”
His mouth fell open.
I immediately felt better.
“What are you talking about?”
“It's a simple question, Potter.”
“No, I don't fancy Hermione!”
“Then why did you nearly get yourself killed for her?”
“Because she was in danger!”
He sounded genuinely bewildered.
I narrowed my eyes, searching his face.
“You're sure?”
“Yes!”
“Completely?”
“Yes!”
“Not even a little?”
“Malfoy!”
Good.
I released his tie.
Then I smoothed it down for him, because I'd wrinkled it and because the gesture made him go very still.
“Fine.”
Potter stared at me.
“What do you mean, fine?”
“I mean your taste isn't quite as dreadful as I thought.”
His eyes narrowed.
“Were you jealous?”
I froze.
Then I smiled.
Slowly.
Dangerously.
I put one hand against the wall beside his head and leaned in until there were only inches between us.
“Careful, Potter.”
His cheeks reddened.
Much better.
“You survived the troll,” I murmured. “Don't get overconfident.”
Then I turned and walked away before he could answer.
My face felt annoyingly warm.
Behind me, Potter called, “You were jealous!”
I didn't turn around.
“Shut up, Potter!”
His laughter followed me all the way down the corridor.
Insufferable boy.
@WongUpdates Not even Doom could understand this guys ridiculous game plots. Would be a good distraction. Bro might give up on life trying to understand Death Stranding.
