Yeah so, the Jets are winning Sunday. Glenn has a lot of history with GB from his time as the DC in Detroit- he understands tendencies and will exploit where he can. Jets offense is really really good. Not flashy, but punishing. Hall/Allen combo will be hard to stop for any team.

Let’s not forget the Jets offensive play calling in W1 was incredibly vanilla. Smash mouth football. Stifling defense. Protect the lead and get out of the game with a W. As vanilla as it was, they DOMINATED the Titans. So yeah, the Packers are in for a LONG Sunday afternoon 🚀

@li_jets I’m so sorry to be that guy- but Tate and Robinson spent a lot of time in our secondary open while Cam was scrambling around the pocket. Credit to the DL for moving him though the incompetence of Ward saved us a ton. Just being fair here.

It’s safe to say- our success as a team each game will lay in the hands of our defense. I’ve never been so confident in a Jets offense, this is one of the better we’ve seen. Question now is, how real is the defense? Sunday is going to be real fun. 🚀

The Titans were BAD. And it didn’t make sense to push the the ball and risk injuries when the other team is absolutely lifeless on the field. Just block, run the ball and punt, let the defense win you the game- that was the philosophy- it’s rare you get to do that.

Just how conservative were the Jets late in the week 1 matchup? Geno was 8/9 in the second half, only attempted 1 pass in the 4th QTR. That game could have easily been 40-10 if Reich wanted to make a statement. Good for him by being disciplined-

You can’t convince me these New York Jets aren’t for real.. Cooper flashed, Sadiq was heavily involved and David Bailey established himself as a problem on a dominating defense, regardless how bad Tennessee actually is. New York will be 2-0 when they meet the Detroit Lions 🔥

I’m not over reacting to the Jets win over the lifeless Titans. We knew Tennessee was going to be bad, the Jets took care of business as they were expected to do and it was fun to watch. Now we’re home this week against a much more competent opponent. Let’s make it 2-0 🚀

I will mention… The Jets were up 17-3 and started playing the absolute most conservative football I’ve ever seen. They trusted the defense, playing not to lose… I don’t know how many times you can get away with that philosophy, especially against a better opponent.
