The South African Police Service & SANDF conducted an intelligence driven operation and has arrested two suspects in Mpumalanga, Mooiplaas with stolen military firearms.

This relates to the theft of weapons at the SANDF Base in April 2026.

Various offences opened against the suspects including violation of the Immigration Act.
