आज जंतर-मंतर पर मुख्य धारा क��� मीडिया एकदम फ्लॉप रही. जनता को उनके रिपोर्ट पर यकीन नहीं था. YouTube और Instagram के छोटे छोटे लोगों ने सभी की हवा निकाल दी. आज IT Cell भी कुछ तार्किक बातें नहीं कर पाया. कोई चेक एंड बैलेंस नहीं था उनमे. वही छिछोरा��न वाली बातें जिसपर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया.

राहुल गांधी के धरने पर मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह का वक्तव्य-

कुछ समय पहले, यह ज्ञात हुआ कि कांग्रेस पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष, श्री मल्लिकार्ज���न खड़गे और उनके साथ अन्य वरिष्ठ नेता, जैसे कि ��्री राहुल गांधी, श्रीमती प्रियंका गांधी इत्यादि अकस्मात ही अकबर रोड़ के समीप एक स्थान पर अपने समर्थकों  के साथ धरने पर बैठ गयेहैं। सरकार ने इस वरिष्ठ दल की गरिमा के दृष्टिगत, मुझे स्वंय और मेरे साथ केंद्रीय गृह सचिव, श्री गोविंद मोहन को इन वरिष्ठ नेताओं से वार्ता करने हेतु मौके पर भेजा। श्री राहुल गांधी से अनुरोध किया गया कि वे अपना धरना समाप्त करें, क्योंकि यह स्थल धरने का स्थल नहीं है, और यहां पर धरना करने से जनसाधारण को काफी असुविधा भी पहुंच रही है। श्री राहुल गांधी जी ने यह मांग रखी कि यदि सरकार संसद में NEET और उससे संबंधित आंदोलन के साथ जुड़े सभी विषयों पर चर्चा करने के लिए मान जाती है, तो वह अपना धरना तुरंत समाप्त कर देगें। कुछ ही क्षणों में सरकार के शीर्ष नेत्रत्व की अनुमति लेने के बाद, श्री राहुल गांधी को यह आश्वसान दिया गया कि उनकी मांग को मान लिया गया है, तथा सरकार NEET और उससे संबंधित आंदोलन के साथ जुड़े सभी विषयों पर संसद में चर्चा करने को तैयार है।

श्री राहुल गांधी जी को जब यह सूचना पहुंचाई गई तो उन्होंने कहा कि वह इतने पर ही नहीं मानेंगे अपितु उन्होंने केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री के इस्तीफे का भी आश्वसा��� चाहा। उन्होंने कहा कि अब मेरी दो मांगे हैं: संसद में चर्चा एवं केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री का इस्तीफा। जब उनको याद दिलाया गया कि पहले उन्होने केवल चर्चा की ही मांग की थी, तब उन्होंने कहा कि अब मेरी मांगें बदल गयी हैं। जब उनकों विनम्रता से ये समझाने का प्रयास किया गया कि उनके जैसे वरिष्ठ नेता को इतनी जल्दी अपनी बात से मुकर जाना शोभा नहीं देता, तो उन्होंने कहा कि यह उनकी मर्जी है। जब गृह सचिव ने यह समझाने का प्रयास किया कि यह स्थल धरने के लिए अनुकूल नही हैं तो उनका उत्तर था कि ये भी उनकी मर्जी है वे जहां बैठें।

श्री राहुल गांधी जैसे वरिष्ठ नेता एवं नेता प्रतिपक्ष काअपनी बात से मुकर जाना दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है और लोकंतंत्र की हर मर्यादा के विपरीत है। सरकार NEET और उससे संबंधित आंदोलन के साथ जुड़े सभी विषयों पर संसद में चर्चा करने के लिए तैयार है। इसके विपरीत, कांग्रेस पार्टी ने आज तक इस गंभीर विषय पर नियमानुसार औपचारिक चर्चा करने का कोई नोटिस नहीं दिया है। श्री राहुल गांधी का व्यवहार लोकतंत्र के ऊसूलों से मेल नहीं खाता है।

राजनीति ने समाज को इतने वर्गों, जातियों और समूहों में विभाजित कर दिया है कि भ्रष्टाचार, बेरोज़गारी, अपराध और प्रशासनिक अव्यवस्था जैसे राष्ट्रीय मुद्दों पर उठने वाली सामूहिक आवाज़ भी अक्सर बिखर जाती है।

दुर्भाग्य यह है कि अधिकांश राजनीतिक दलों का आग्रह अब सत्य, न्याय और नैतिकता से अधिक राजनीतिक सुविधा पर आधारित दिखाई देता है। परिस्थितियों और हितों के अनुसार बयान बदलते हैं, प्राथमिकताएँ बदलती हैं और कार्रवाई भी उसी अनुरूप होती है।

प्रशासन की स्थिति भी चिंताजनक है। जब राजनीतिक प्रभाव प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था में गहराई तक प्रवेश कर जाता है, तो निष्पक्षता और जवाबदेही प्रभावित होती है। इसका नुकसान अंततः आम नागरिक को उठाना पड़ता है।
लोकतंत्र तभी सशक्त होगा जब शासन, प्रशासन और राजनीति—तीनों का आधार कानून का समान अनुपालन, पारदर्शिता और जनहित हो, न कि तात्कालिक राजनीतिक लाभ।

Bharat Mata is not, and cannot be, a Goddess.

The term Bharat Mata inspires patriotism. As a poetic symbol, there is nothing wrong with it. The problem begins when poetry is mistaken for theology.

Honour vs. Worship

The famous line from the Rāmāyaṇa, "Jananī Janmabhūmiśca Svargādapi Garīyasī" (One's mother and motherland are greater than heaven), is often cited to justify worshipping Bharat Mata. However, this verse teaches love, gratitude, and duty toward our birthplace—not religious worship.

Sanātana Dharma clearly distinguishes between honour and worship:

- We honour Parents, teachers, and the nation.

- We worship Bhagavan and deities established by Hindu scriptures.

The motherland is a metaphor deserving reverence, not a deity demanding worship.

No Scriptural Authority

Hindu tradition already has a complete theology of the Divine Mother. Deities like Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Parvati, Kali, and Bhūdevī are worshiped because they are recognised by pramāṇa—the Vedas, Itihasas, Purāṇas, Agamas, and traditional sampradayas.

Bharat Mata fits none of these categories:

- No Hindu scripture identifies Bharat Mata as a deity.

- No traditional lineage prescribes her worship.

- No classical temple tradition includes her.

Some compare Bharat Mata to Bhūdevī (or Prithvi Mata), but this comparison is inaccurate. Bhūdevī is a scripturally recognized cosmic deity representing the entire Earth, not a specific modern country. India is part of Bhūdevī, but Bhūdevī is not Bharat Mata.

A Modern Political Symbol

Where did Bharat Mata come from? She is a modern political symbol.

- Origins: She emerged during the 19th-century Bengal Renaissance through the wholesale imitation of the Westphalian model of territorial nationalism, with the Indian territory personified and deified as Bharat Mata.

- Adoption: The symbol was later adopted by political organisations like the RSS.

While this history explains her political importance, it does not give her religious or scriptural authority.

Religious vs. Political Spheres

India is a secular republic. If Bharat Mata represents the nation, she represents a political entity, not a divine one. A "secular goddess" is a self-contradictory idea.

Political symbols belong in civic life—public institutions, rallies, and civic ceremonies. They do not belong in Hindu temples. Temples are consecrated only for Bhagavan and scripturally recognised deities. Installing Bharat Mata statues or pictures in temples is therefore not an act of patriotism but an act of sacrilege.

Furthermore, a nation cannot grant moksha (liberation), nor can it replace religion. In Hindu thought:

- Only Bhagavan is divine.

- Patriotism, no matter how noble, can never replace spiritual devotion.

Sacred Geography vs. Political Cartography

Confusing political geography with sacred geography leads to several contradictions:

- Sacred sites exist beyond modern borders: Holy places like Kashi, Ayodhya, Tirupati, and Puri are sacred because of their association with Bhagavan, not because they fall within India's current map. Conversely, sacred sites like Kailasa, Manasa Sarovar, Pashupatinath, and Janakpur lie outside modern India, yet their sanctity remains unchanged.

- Political borders change; divinity does not: The political map of India changed under the Mauryas, Guptas, Mughals, British, and post-1950 Republic. If a deity (Bharat Mata) is bound to political borders, does that deity expand, shrink, or divide whenever the map changes? Hindu theology recognises no gods whose existence depends on human history or political maps.

Hindutva is Universal Religion

Sanatana Dharma is a universal faith, not a country-bound religion. Crores of Hindus live outside India:

- A Hindu born in Nepal owes civic loyalty to Nepal.

- Hindus in Mauritius, Fiji, South Africa, the UK, Australia, or the USA owe civic loyalty to their respective nations while remaining fully Hindu.

If worshipping Bharat Mata were a mandatory religious duty, global Hindus would face a constant conflict between civic duty to their home country and religion which worships India (Bharat Mata). True Dharma does not impose such local constraints.

Conclusion

India deserves our love, gratitude, service, and protection as the cradle of Hindu civilisation. But love is not worship, patriotism is not religion, and a nation is not Goddess.

When Param Pujya Jagadguru Sankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj Ji @jyotirmathah stated that Bharat Mata is not a goddess, his view aligned directly with classical Hindu scriptures and theology. Grounded in śāstra and sampradaya, his position reflects traditional doctrinal clarity: Bharat Mata is not, and cannot be, a Goddess.
