this might be a crazy hot take but here goes nothing:
i could care less if software is vibe coded or not as long as it does what its supposed to do *reasonably well*
the anti-ai crowd should realize that before ai, software dev was pretty much 90% copy and pasting code snippets from other programmers or stack overflow and spending hours debugging what goes wrong/making it work to your needs and 10% doing stuff thats fully original
if an LLM lets me debug code in a few mins, hell yes im taking the shortcut. some ppl may like the satisfaction of painstakingly finding and fixing bugs, but at the end of the day your end user doesnt care what you did to make it work as long as the product works as they expect it to.
also bonus points: Claude can port an entire app to Linux or another platform in a fraction of the time I would spend doing that by hand, and at the rate Windows is going rn I would take vibe coded Linux apps over having to run Windows...
before anyone flames me for this im not saying you should vibe code slop, if you actually read the post i mentioned the vibe coded software should work "reasonably well"
now you can go and roast me in the comments...
