I was proud to go to Battle of Ideas and share my thoughts on women's rights- I learned lots. I was also invited by a volunteer to speak on a panel at FiLiA last year, but unlike the pro-Hamas speaker, my invitation was rescinded after an intervention from management😁
Memo to those informing myself that you’re “so disappointed in me”, or that you “used to like me”, have a negligible effect on my views regarding matters pertaining to women’s spaces/sports.
If you don’t know this about me by now, your “disappointment” is yours & yours alone.🤷
Pleased with the budget today. As I loaded up my online shopping cart with a few regular items (£89.45 that 5 years ago would have been closer to £40) I prayed with all my heart that my taxes would go towards giving the grifting Ukraine comedian another £10 billion 🥹🥲
"People who can't create always destroy"
In 2001, the Taliban blew up Afghanistan’s 1,500 year old Bamiyan Buddha's statue. Imagine a belief so fragile it has to wage war on stone.
Four of us were supposed to be contacted in advance of the Filia conference and the person tasked with this duty refused on principle to tell us to “behave or else”.
None of us were aware of this “intense scrutiny” as we arrived.
Hey presto - all 4 were eventually thrown out. Precisely the 4 women pre-identified. Think about that.

It would not have mattered what we did or did not do. Our “crimes” were pre-determined and the punishment (expulsion) prepared.
Thank you from me too to the woman of principle who refused to play a part in this.
The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
Beside it is the Tigh an Truish, 'house of the trousers'. The story goes that after the 1746 Dress Act banned Highland dress, islanders swapped kilts for trousers here before heading to the mainland, and back again on the way home.

Fancy crossing the Atlantic in a few strides? In Argyll, you can.
The Clachan Bridge, a hump-backed stone arch of 1792-93, links the island of Seil to the mainland about 8 miles (13 km) south-west of Oban. It's known as the Bridge over the Atlantic.

BREAKING:
The Royal Jordanian Air Force has struck Syrian territory.
The airstrikes hit ISIS groups in southern Syria according to Jordan. For the first time since Assad’s fall, the Syrian government stated that the Jordanian airstrikes had come without coordination with Damascus. Syria also closed the Nassib border crossing with Jordan in protest.
Around 20 people were killed in airstrikes, including civilians. The airstrikes were carried out in response the deadly Islamist terror attack against a church in Jordan, in which 9 Christians were murdered during a funeral service.
@AngryDragon7@DeeBee827@DreyfusJames James has stuck his head above the parapet many times for women, hence the reason why you're here. Fucking walloper!
Whatever you think about the Palestine shitshow, fuck this sort of disingenuous cowardly bullshit.
“Oh, you should have a homeland, just not the one you currently live in.”
So where, then? As far as I know all the land on Earth is taken. Where do they go? Just be honest.
