@Proto_arts Yeah, personally for me. I wish they didn't have the sliders to customize how I should play. I prefer when they already made the controls, speed, and physics for you to play already. The only thing I want to change is the controller mapping rather than what they did in Frontiers.

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere I am also confused on his purpose for creating her also. I don't think she had much of a role in this game, I thought she would serve a more bigger role than in Frontiers, what I thought was completely different from what they did in the game.

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere He created Sage and even in the other games like Sonic Battle with Emerl was treated like there were useless until he realizes how useful they were to him. It's just weirder since Sage doesn't feel much like a character like the others like Metal Sonic, Gamma, Orbot, and Cubot.

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere Yeah, I know. I don't see it being a problem working with Sonic from time to time to save his own skin since he worries more about himself than others most of the time.

I just don't think it's right since he has done a lot of inhumane things too, but didn't really care until...

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere If they want to make him a little more complex of a villain. They could have made him more nuanced and multidimensional. Giving him more depth and layers like a backstory, motivation, and mindset and giving him more to motivate and goals that could go beyond taking over the world

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere He is still a pretty huge deal in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I do agree that he is a goof, but he has done a lot of things that make him a threat in their world.

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere I don't think he should change a lot. I think how he was portrayed was fine that was his character. It's mostly what happens between Sonic Vs Eggman. Like the worlds and people around getting somewhat involved and development like Knuckles, Amy, Tails, Blaze, Cream, whoever.

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere Just making Eggman sympathetic felt like it compromise his intimidating presence and reduce him from being more of a villain. Eggman is somewhat pretty inconsistent from how he was portrayed in the past even in Forces, where he took over and how he express how he hates him.

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere Also, I just didn't like how they humanized him to have feelings for Sage whom he created, but he never had feelings for his other creation or anyone except his grandfather whom he looks up to. He only starts having feelings when he knows that it could be beneficial to him.

I want him to more compelling and formidable villain. The current portrayal of Eggman is less threatening and menacing..

@hitokiriririn @StarStormHere I never said he should be the only villain. I said he needs to go back to being the Eggman pre-2010s instead of what they did throughout 2010 and Frontiers. I want Eggman to go back to being a more sinister and threatening villain like originally.

Anyway yeah, Sonic fans most of the time should not be listened to much when they tell Sega what they want. If Sega was a good company they'd be able to take the feedback and filter out what does and doesn't make sense to deliver something good (but instead we get Frontiers)

gain from the story of that game. Whenever I managed to force up some creative message to take from it, I think a bit more and the thing makes less sense again. "Don't a good few other sonic games suffer from-" yeah, uh-huh but those games' stories are ALSO FUN TO WATCH GRAAAAAH
